Hi. n_n
I'm thinking about getting snakebites, which would be my first facial piercings.
I just want to know your experiences with getting them done or any other lip piercing.
Only thing I have pierced right now is two lobes on both ears and my tragus on both as well.
Also is it okay to get more piercings after getting pierced about a month ago?
Sorry if my questions are dumb. I'm quite new to this and I only want to do what's best for me. I like myself. D:

I have snakebites now. I have them done a year apart though.
They were both very easy piercings. Just a pinch.
My lip swelled up... and it kinda feels like having a kanker for awhile. But it's not too bad after a week. Then it's just crusty for a long time.

My lip was my first facial piercing - and definately the least painful, and easy.
It hardly swelled at all, and looked great even when it was a bit swollen.
And yeah, it's okay to get piercings close to eachother, time wise. I got quite a few of mine done within a close time period. It's just more work to take care of.

And for a long time do you mean like half of the average healing time or like the whole entire time?
My tragus' were barely swollen so I'm hoping the same thing for my lip. <3 But with my luck, probably not. lol.
I guess I won't mind the work... I've got nothing better to do till September.

I have snakebites... sorta...
it's like, snakebites with an extra ring on the right side...
and I got all 3 done at once...
It was a pain in the a** to eat for like... 12 days... but it wasn't bad.

And I talked to the guy that's gonna' be doing my piercings. He told me to eat a good meal before I come 'cause I'll probably be eating soup for the next week. D:
I hate soup and I love food. It's gonna' be tough. emo

i have snakebites, it hurts a bit when there being done...but after a day or so it were fine...they didnt even swell up that much which was great. At first i really noticed them, but after a week i forgot, and now ive had them for 2 years and still love them heart

my sister pierced mine about a month ago. i freaking love it.
it doesnt hurt at all. and it just takes a few seconds. but my sis has snake bites and says not to do them at the same time beacuse it will be a bit painful to eat for a few days.
just keep it clean and stuff. mine stopped hurting after a week or so. bt it does sweel for a few days. mine didnt get crusty it just scabed for a about 2 weeks. but just keep yours clean and stuff and dont get it infected.

Got my snakebites. I'm very surprised how it didn't hurt at all. It was just a pinch. Which is good. =D
I had no swelling yesterday, but I think they're a tad swollen today. But that's to be expected. I'm just glad I don't have major swelling.
It doesn't hurt to eat, it's just annoying because of the posts. And I obviously don't want to bite them.
But, some bad news along with good.
Apparently, now my dad is really pissed. I thought he didn't care before but I guess he changed his mind or I really misunderstood him.
He keeps going on how he wants me out of the house and stuff. And he said he's gonna' disconnect the internet.
So, if I'm inavtice it's not my fault!

After i got mine pierced, i went to see my grandpa with my mom and he was pissed trying to tell me how i'm not gonna get a job or a nice boy with a piece of metal on my lip. eh oh well,just ignore it...

Yeah, my dad can be a p***k sometimes.
But it's better now. He's not taking my sweet internet away. heart
I think he just worries 'cause it's my face, it's the first thing people see and I guess he doesn't want anyone to judge me or say anything to me in a bad way. Then there's the job thing too, but I won't be working and going to university at the same time, so that's good for me. But I think he also thinks that the university teachers might judge me. But I'm sure there are a bunch of.. 'different' (xD) kind of people that go to univeristy so I'm not really worried about it.

Thats good.
My parents want me to stop dying my hair and they want me to let it grow out for highschool and since i don't have my lip pierced they said i can't get repierced til i'm 18.
They said they don't want me to be labeled emo or something once i go to highschool. cry I hate long hair gonk

I think it's just best to go along with your parents. No need for arguments that are going to go nowhere.
My parents are the opposite when it comes to my hair. I apparently don't do enough with it. lol.
