Ok,since this con is particularly close,I decided to revive it of sorts. Atsuicon WebsiteWhen:August 3-5 Where:CrownePlaza-North Houston Rates:$45 - Three Day Pass $18 - Friday Only $23 - Saturday Only $14 - Sunday Only Group Rates at the door: $195 for a group of five people. (That's $39 each 3-day pass. $37 per pass for each additional person after.)
Guests:Way too many to list so I'll just post up a link. Atsui-con Guest ListWell this con seems to have its details lined out,solid guests and events ready to go.This con doesnt look like it's going to disappoint AT ALL.So who all is going to show their lovely faces here?

True that,however its 45 bux for 3 days.Eek,never heard of that much for con entry in the Houston area.Might as well go Friday and Saturday for 41 and save that 4 dollars for the way home.I should go to this con. crying

I havent kept with this cons pricing at all.The pre reg was 35 dollars so...I dunno.If it has all its guests ready to go and vendors and such,and is in good order.I could possibly understand the 45 dollars,but like I said not in the Houston area.You can go two days and save 4 dollars.W/e you want to do I suppose.Ok,the musical guest is Stephanie Yanez,is she any good? Hoping it'd be a band band.Oh well.

At the door price went up because they have to take care of so many guests, they do have a band now, Metal Physicz, they rock, though I haven't heard Stephanie Yanez at all. Hotel prices at 90$ a day if you call by phone and mention Atsuicon.

if i had the chance to go, id cosplay as a lolita. my friend told me that she has seen alot of them at the cons she went to.
