Thanks, but no thanks. I like trying to catch my own shinies. It adds to the fun. So far, I've been lucky enough to catch a shiny Magikarp. mrgreen

Now she's a red Gyarados and part of my team. mrgreen By the way, isn't there a rumor about hatching shinies by having a shiny pokemon and a ditto in the day care or something like that?

Ya, it sucks, but there isn't even an increased chance of gettig a shiney from breeding another shiney.

um is there anyway you could make it look legit by catching it in the appropiate place? I'd like a shiny haunter and a charmander. biggrin (when traded the haunter will evolve) mrgreen

i got my shiny in emerald its a zubat i was just runnineng around in meteor falls when it sows up...god those things only happen once and then never again to me

first machop I saw in diamond was shiny. Nothing big, threw it in my boxes and let it sit after using it for a level.
