This is the new section of thread. I'm sure you're wondering what happened to the Jobs section, well- this is it!
We now, rather than have jobs, have regulars. To become a regular (although it doesn't do a lot except raise your chances of getting donated to) you simply hang out and post in the thread regularly. Hence the word 'Regular'.
Thread Owners
These are not only the people that assist me in running the thread, but hold other positions that help things run smoothly.

2-23-07: I've had it, and things are too hectic to keep track of, so we are removing the Job Roster.
There are several positions that will still be in effect, such as contest holders, co-owners, and more. But, these are already filled.
We will also have a board that will make all the decisions in the thread.
2-2-07: Anime has informed me on recent employee changes. If your name was removed from the roster and you feel it was under false circumstances, please PM me or Anime.
1-25-07: Sorry everyone for not being around a lot. Several circumstances have kept my internet time limited. (namely girlfriend) But, I have been popping in and checking on things. Hopefully, if I can fix the problems in my computer, I'll have things running smoothly again. Until then, I'm NOT accepting any job requests. Sorry everyone.
12-28-06: Don't panic. I know what you're thinking. "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE THREAD?!" Simple. After taking into consideration that many people took the name too literal, we changed the name to The Gaian Retreat. For more info, please look at the newsletter. [Soon to come.]
12-7-06: For those of you that haven't noticed, I have changed the song of the week, and added a new section to the thread! A Music Video section. It will contain the top ranked videos for that week. Note, only five videos will be post at a time. For those of you too lazy to scroll;

12-5-06: Yes! We have added a new part to the front page! The Video of the Week is where you can see the top rated video, or a video I just felt like putting up, and you can watch the video for it thanks to YouTube.
Note: Not all songs have videos, some made be home made, but at least it has the song.

12-13-06: Well, I had better hold my breath, because this is going to get ugly. As many of you are aware, the thread has become sloppy. Which is one of the main reasons we don't expand. Therefore, all members on Management are being removed from the list. IT'S NOTHING PERSONAL. Some users are unable to be on enough to handle business. I will select the new members of management over time. There will be a period of time where there will be no Co-Owner, etc. I will select them myself. Some current management may be returned to the list, while others aren't. I apologize deeply. Note, that if you are management and your name was taken off, don't think it will stay that way. I just think it's better for me to look at my current users too. I will be selecting new management, but old management can still be rehired. Just give me some time to sort things out.

12-1-06: Just a reminder. We now have an Employee Supervisor. This is who you need to send all PMs to regarding leaving Gaia for an extended period of time. (Over 1 Week) He is also who you need to ask about your evaluation. I do not handle those, so don't PM me about them.
Again, please PM AnimeEmperor.
Also, we have made a few changes;
• There is no longer an Employee of the Month Drawing. See the EOM section for more details.
• You no longer have to have recommendations to be hired. Seeing as how business is slow, we will no longer require it.
11/24/06: I have once again cleared off the job list. This time for good. I am not making ANY EXCEPTIONS. If you would like your job back, PM me the application just like anyone else. Otherwise, your job is up for grabs.
11/7/06: Well, although I hate to say it, I will be leaving Gaia for a good while. At least until Christmas Time. I will be back by then to hold the event. Due to band and girlfriend related things, I don't have time to get online. On my laptop, or home, so I am leaving the thread in the hands of Nikko and Deb. They are two of my most trusted workers, and I know they will hold the thread up right. If you need me to add something to the front page, although I wouldn't think you would, PM me and I will get around to it. However, it may take me up to a week to do so. If you have any rule related issues, see [Lunar Warrior]. Well my friends, I am off, I shall pop in every great once in a while to check up on things, but don't hold your breath.

10/23/06: I have noticed that again, that many people are getting jobs, and many stop coming or don't PM me when they aren't going to be around.
Which is why I have decided that I will be hiring a Job Supervisor. This will be the person that watches and makes sure everyone is coming in regularly. When they don't, they will report to me with the information. This will also be the person you PM when you are on leave. This will be the person who will PM those users that don't come in. I don't want a bunch of people applying for this job. The requirements are strict.
• Must be a regular in the thread. Example would be [Lunar Warrior ], Cherry Popsicle and others that are always in the thread. You may apply.
• Must be fully literate. No slip ups will be tolerated when handling business.
• On as much as possible.
• Supervises the thread to watch for users to come in.
If you meet these requirements, PM me saying you want to apply, and I will overlook all the applications and make my decision.
9/24/06: After seeing many people getting jobs and not coming in after that, you now have to have two (2) recommendations from two separate workers. They both must PM me. I hate doing this, and having my Inbox filled, but this is so I know who will be committed to the thread.
]9/13/06: I have added quick links to the thread so you can quickly skim through the thread without scrolling the entire page. They only cover posts, so you will have to do a little scrolling.
8/29/06: I have been receiving more and more chain letters every day from people on my friend list. I will not post anyone’s name up, but this is a warning for all. Chain letters are against the ToS, and sending them, no matter what they say, are against the ToS. The next person who sends me a chainletter, I will ban then report to a moderator. I haven't been strict on them, but I have at least two in my Inbox everyday. So from here on out, do not send these, I only want to help you.
8/24/06:: Finally! The Employee of the Month Drawing is here! Well, almost. It's a real shame though that most employees won't be entered into the Drawing.
As most of you know, the Donation Letter for August contains an Angelic Microphone -or- Gwee the Dragon. Not the most pricey items on the Marketplace, but definitely some of the most unique. @_@
Remember: After the Drawing, I will clear off the job list. That does not mean you are fired. But many people don't come in, so I am clearing off the list, all you have to do to regain your job is PM me the same App. you did the first time. If you had an excellent xd Rating, you will get your job back For sure. If you have anything higher than a stressed you will more than likely get your job back. And if you had a stare or stressed you more than likely will NOT be rehired. However, if you have been active in the thread, there is a possibility that you will be rehired.
So remember, after the Drawing tomorrow, resend your applications to get your job back and I will add you to the list. This is just to ensure I know who does and doesn’t work here, and so I know whether or not you are responsible. 3nodding
8/14/06:That's right. I'm back from my family Reunion, which was as boring as could be. gonk But now I am full of ideas. We are now going to have a section of the thread where once every month we will give away a Super Rare or Expensive Item. Such as a Kiki, Nitemare Accessories etc. Most things will run over 100K. Unless the Market Drops their price. I will add this section soon. I hope you will all enjoy this new way to get stuff. whee

8/6/06: As you can see, many things have changed about the thread. The banners, the layout, and I have taken many names off the job list. The Management and I are discussing new ways to make the thread better than ever. If you have any suggestions, please PM me.
As you can also see, I have changed the job description list. This way you can see what you need to do or what skills you need to have to get the job. Also, after careful consideration, we have decided if people that have jobs do NOT start coming in, we will require (2) references from members of the thread. They will have to PM me in separate PM's telling us they do recommend you. We don't want to come to that, but it just may.

7/16/06: The New "Romantic Inn" is now open in The Gaian Retreat. We are still excepting jobs applications for; Playmates, Waitresses, Waiters, and Maids.
