As we all know, Rammstein is one of the best bands out there. I have conducted a mini survey because I would like to get to know this guild (I'm new, by the way), and I would also like to see everyone's answers. Quote: Survey: 1. 1. How did you get into Rammstein?
Some friends of mine were listening to them one day, and luckily I overheard them ;D
2. How old were you?
15 or 16
3. How old are you now?
19
4. Who is your favorite member and why?
Till. There's a million reasons why I love this man, but really how could one not love and or like him to some degree. To sum it up, he's just absolutely awesome ;D.
5. WHY do you like Rammstein?
Because they are something special. I was sick and tired of listening to a million different bands all singing the same s**t with the same tune. Then Rammstein came around one day and changed all that.
6. What's your favorite song?
It's too hard to pick just one, but my top three favorites are Rosenrot, Mein Teil, and Stein um Stein....in relatively that order >>

A friend of mine from German class gave me the cd.
2. How old were you?
15
3. How old are you now?
17
4. Who is your favorite member and why?
Schneider. He's an awesome drummer, and he seems to be a really great guy in general. Very patient, funny, etc.
5. WHY do you like Rammstein?
At that time, they were NOTHING at all like anything else I listened to. They're still not like anything I listen to. There's something about their music that just moves your blood, you know?
6. What's your favorite song?
It's incredibly hard to pick one, but I'd probably say...Engel.

1. How did you get into Rammstein? I picked up Sehnsucht on one of my cd buying sprees i go on every so often.
2. How old were you? about 14
3. How old are you now?20
4. Who is your favorite member and why?Till mainly cause he's the man...even if he dosent like people staring at him when he's on stage he's still the man, but seriously i like his vocals one of the things that just make rammstein rammstein.
5. WHY do you like Rammstein? The tunes of course without those i dont think any of us would be talking about these guys to much.
6. What's your favorite song?
hard to pick one but i could narrow it down to about 5
Adios-great song i can never listen to it halfway through
Bück dich-gotta love the hard drive "behind" it
Asche Zu Asche-I like the album version but i never really loved the song until i heard them play it on live aus berlin
Moskau - hmmm what can i say about this one....oh i know Раз, два, три!
Zwitter-I just love the build up in the song to the last chorus of the song thats what hooked me on this one.

 When life gives you lemons, make lemonade...1. My older cousin had me listen to the Sehnsucht album in the car one day. I was in awe.
2. I must have been about 10 or 11.
3. 19
4. It's a hard call (they're all such great musicians!), but I have to say Schneider; seeing him in the Mein Teil video may have done it...I have a major drag fetish.
5. I find their music amazing. Their videos are brilliant. They're clever, unique, strong-willed individuals. I also like the fact that their songs are so neutral; they don't force an opinion on any particular view of the topic or situation. That's so rare in bands nowadays.
6. Halleluja is probibly my favorite right now.

I think there all cool, but I guess I'd have to say Richard! He was the one who started it all, so without him there'd be no Rammstein! eek
5. WHY do you like Rammstein?
It was something different than what I always listen to. I was starting to get bored with the music I liked and then I started listening to them; and I also like that bit of controversy that always surrounds the band.
6. What's your favorite song?
I like most of thier songs, but I gotta say Zwitter mrgreen

1. How did you get into Rammstein?: So I was on this Sailor Moon website right (shut up, I love Sailor Moon) and they had a Sailor Moon music video with "Du Hast" (of course, everyone's first Rammstein song is "Du Hast") as the music. I listened to it once and I was like "Hot damn, this is good."
So after replaying that music video atleast 100 times and annoying my parents with the constant replay of freaky German tanz-metal, I looked up more of their songs on WMP. Needless to say, I found more and more until I was tempted to buy their CDs... and the rest is history. *points to CD collection with all the Rammstein CDs except the singles that no one buys anyway*
2. How old were you?:
12!
3. How old are you now?:
14, turning 15.
4. Who is your favorite member and why?:
Richard Kruspe because I thought he played rhythm guitar and one of my dreams is to play rhythm guitar in a band one day. I figured out he was the lead guitarist from herzeleid.com and was very disapointed, but he's still kickass.
5. WHY do you like Rammstein?:
I never heard anything like it before them. The whole "omg uniqueness" of it drew me to them. Now I know there's other bands out there like them, but they're still #1.
6. What's your favorite song?:
"Morgenstern", for personal reasons biggrin

My best friend said "Hey, check out this CD that my friend burnt for me and she got off of someone else." It was filled with Rammstein and Japanese pop music.

I don't know. They've all had their moments when I liked them the best.

1. How did you get into Rammstein? My older brother in like 1996. But I really came out to liking it when I saw an Evangelion movie with "Engel" synched to it.

1. How did you get into Rammstein? my friend burned a cd with 92 songs 2 of 92 songs were R+. I didnt like them my brother kept playing them then i got hooked
2. How old were you? 13.
3. How old are you now? 14
4. Who is your favorite member and why? Till he is one of the most smarter members and is not stupid as richard
5. WHY do you like Rammstein? just the sonud of their music, the vocals, lyrics and plus its about time i found a band to scare my parents.

Till because i'm especially fond of vocalists with a severe amount of talent.
5. WHY do you like Rammstein?
They are the best German speaking band i have ever heard and they don't over exert themselves to appeal to the American music industry by singing in English in hopes of acquiring more fans.

My brother. Or from hearing Du Hast in one of the Cky movies.

I was um. Eleven-ish when I first heard it. But I laughed at it... >>;

Fourteen.
4. Who is your favorite member and why?
You're making me choose?! I like all of them. Some more than others, but y'know, that's like with every band.
5. WHY do you like Rammstein?
They're a different sound. And lots of kids I know have musicians reppin' South America and all. Well, I got my German power. xD
6. What's your favorite song?
Songs.. >>;
- Nebel. It's one of their more serious songs, it shows a sort of class that you don't get from Rammstein's perverse nature.
- Feuer und Wasser. It's a tad pervy, but I can sort of relate to it. Y'know, liking someone you can't be with.
- Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen. It's faster, it's catchy and it's down right sexy. I love the sound and how each and every member plays a big role in it. Some songs leave people out but I think this is when they really come together. LIEBE.
