hurray for surface piercings! i currently have 8 of them, i havent seen many around where i live. does anyone else have them? i hear they reject alot but i havent had any problems. if u do have them, where are they and what material do u use. i use tygon that has to be replaced every few months

like barbells but not quite, each goes in one end and out the other, like my eyebrow for example, entry and exit point. the jewelry is threaded end so u screw them into not onto. what runs underneath my skin is the tygon material i was talking about. its a medical grade bendable plastic tubing. very safe and it forms to the body instead of displacing skin that tends to lead to rejection of most surface piercings. the tygon deteriorates over time and becomes slightly itchy, then u know its time for a change. usualy 4 times a yr or every 3 months.

yeah, i have my sternum piercing, but for some reason, the guild refuses to accept it as a piercing
maybe cause its under the skin and is aobut 15 inches long
