this is an idea that AT and i have been tossing around..
now i know that towns can be quite buggy, and don't work for everyone, but for those that it DOES, we think it'd be fun to pick a designated meeting area (could be my house location because i'm .. *choke* captain.. and it'd be easier to remember, or we could pick a random spot on the grid maps) and just start roaming around and collecting trash, or hang out in a house, or have a "picnic" if you will..
see, plus the type of RP i am used to on AOL (basically "live action" but in text) is much like how these chats in towns work. where the answer pops up right there (not unlike IMs), so i have always had a soft spot for hanging in towns.
anyways, let's toss this idea around! i dont think there'll be an actual party day, as in just a SINGULAR thing, because we all have busy summers ahead; bugg will be gone for 2 weeks, mia will be away awhile as well, etc.
but, we can use this thread for a, "hey who is on, do you want to meet in towns?" kind of thing. you can pair up with a friend here in the guild, or meet up at each other's houses, etc. eventually, we can try to organise more of a party near the end of summer when everyone's around/back from vacations/etc.

between yesterday and today, with wandering towns to collect trash, flowers, bugs (also with some help from AT) i've made about 2k with just collecting stuff and selling it, and also kicking trees.
so if anyone's questing out there, and towns work for you, do go!!! AT and i have been wandering towns all day, though not in the same area.
i really WOULD like to get some of us to hang out in a town one day, though. smile

Mia3219 I'll post a topic in my home town, then you can just look for it okay, but remember, the map for towns is HUGE, you have the main grid when you click on towns directory, and it goes N, S, E, W in about 5 clicks each direction. it's a lot to look through.. if you have your house addy (like 8 barton something or other) i can try to find it that way.
