I love how the guy on the right can make such wonderful sounds that.. almoast resemble an electric violin's sound.. I'd so cool .. and that with only an electric guitar. Too bad they didn't show how he played those violin sounding parts.. except for some small bits. I would have been really interested in how he did it.. since i'm a biiiig fan of how violins sound like

I wonder what your idea of metal music is though? D: hard to define really, I like really really good original guitarsits, off the top of my head my favorite people for their shredding abilities is Randy rhoads Micheal Ammot Kirk Hammet I'm going to have to say Dime too, his style isn't exaclty my taste but you can't deny skill and creativity. Malmsteen Steve Vai Alexi Laiho,

CabrionDeluviant plenty, yes, but still not many when put into comparison with all the metal bands that outright suck. Utter crap. I know more metal bands with talent than I know metal bands without. Most mainstream "metal" bands aren't even metal anyways. I think I will list the bands with talent to show what I mean. Adagio Aina Amorphis Anacrusis Anathema Andromeda Angra Anthrax Arch Enemy Atheist Ayreon Blind Guardian Buckethead Black Sabbath Candlemass Carcass Carnal Forge Children of Bodom Circus Maximus Cornerstone Crematory Crimson Glory Cryptopsy Dark Moor Dark Suns Dark Tranquility Dead Soul Tribe Death Demons and Wizards Dethklok Diamond Head DragonForce Dream Theater Edguy Einherjer Electric Wizard Emperor Enchant Ensiferum Evergrey Extol Falconer Fates Warning Finntroll Flametal Frameshift Gamma Ray Green Carnation Ice Age Iced Earth Immortal In Extremo In Flames Iron Maiden Jag Panzer Judas Priest Kamelot Kataklysm Katatonia Korpiklaani Lacuna Coil Liquid Tension Experiment Marduk Megadeth Metallica Moonsorrow Naglfar Nevermore Nightwish Opeth Orphaned Land Pagan's Mind Pain of Salvation Pantera Paradise Lost Poverty's No Crime Psychotic Waltz Queensryche Rainbow Rhapsody Riverside Savatage Shadow Gallery Sinergy Slayer Sonata Arctica Starbreaker Strapping Young Lad Symphony X Testament Threshold Tierra Santa Tiamat Transatlantic Tristania Turisas Vintersorg Wintersun X Japan Zyklon So, maybe, you listen to some of these bands before you make your judgement?

Synthetic Child i think was one of the only decent ones from around where i lived.

Metal is such a varied genre that you can't even BEGIN to claim you've heard enough to make a sweeping decision, nor claim that it is mainly without talent. That's just plain assgravy.
