THESE POKEMON THREADS AND POKEMON N00BS CAN GO FRICKIN DIE.
Seriously. There are a thousand Pokemon threads on the first page, and thousands that call themselves the official threads. Official threads have to be approved by mods. The mods can't approve more than one thread. I am really sick of these pokemon threads. Whenever you go into the VGD, you can't avoid more than three on the page.

nothing is official unless it's a sticky or announcment, it says so in the guideline announcment
Users are encouraged to look for a pre-existing topic, but that is in no way binding them to post there.
Of course, anybody who doesn't is just an a*****e.

My pokemon life went like this:
1st season- OMG! THIS STUFF RULEZ!!! (i was about 7-9 the first season)
rest of pokemon series before pokemon Johto- Still loved it, not as addicted as when i started liking it. around 10-11 years old, mabye younger.
after pokemon johto, the anime started to get a little repetative, but the games still ruled. My last pokemon game was Crystal. Then i stopped liking pokemon as a whole when they came out with the 3rd set of pokemon. (i.e.- first set, u had bulbasaur, squirtile, and charmander- 2nd set u had Chikorita, totadile, and cyndaquil- 3rd set, i just stopped caring about pokemon at this point.)
that was my pokemon life in a nutshell. I also luved to collect the cards. At my peak of collection, over a few years, and on a very limited amount money for those years, i had collected over 1500 cards.

I can understand where your coming from, but complaining doesn't help.
Also, I would consider changing the title of this thread.

Although my overall affection of pokemon has long since faded away, i still say the very first season of pokemon, the one with all the original 8 badges and indego plateau was the best frikin series to date. followed by the one season when Ash fights in the orange island, and he battles the guy with the dragonite that he defeats with his pikachu, i think the opponent was Lance, but im not sure...

I know what you mean, although like you, My Pokerage for the games hasn't slowed ever. I LOVE the games. I mean, I can't get enough of them. I've got at least 5 teams or so ready to go in Diamond, and I started back in late May. An entire month ago, and I'm already at LEAST within the top 100 trainers in D/P. I've yet to lose a Battle Tower match, and I've got many people relying on my breeding, and so on and so forth...
But the Pokemon threads ARE getting WAY too repetitive. There should have been a Pokemon subforum at LEAST after R&S came out, if not, then before D&P came out. I'd like to look around the VGD without seeing so much Pokemon threads.
BTW, has the title changed, or is it still the original?
I see nothing wrong with the name of the title, but I can see how it can get offensive.

I ******** love pokemon, the first two seasons were great, the games still stay strong, I can't wait until I get PBR and Diamond/Pearl. Pokemon Stadium on N64 kicks a**. But...n00bs kill the experience.

Pokemon was badly poisoned by teh n00bs!! gonk
Now it will take increase damage to it's HP at the end of every turn!!!
The official thread was killed in the VGD by Wifi n00bs not reading the rules, making the creator go into a frenzy and crash it into the CB.
But one of my friends remade it. It just pisses me off that the old thread was killed since it was over 9000. lol

I wish I could pull a Silent Bob and throw those threads out of the back of the VGD, because they have no tickets, but I really can't do that...because a thread doesn't require tickets to be in the VGD...it just has to be on task. I think I might just end up getting "Report this thread" button trigger-happy.
