Ok, so i just finished the soul drinkers omnibus, and i have to say, i think they had the right idea! why serve the corrupt imperium, when you could serve the emporer in another way! .. but all those poor IG souls .. (the emporer protects)
do you guys think they had the right idea?

Well while I understand what happened to them, and see it from both sides. But in reallity all Space Marines serve the Emperor not the Imperium. The Space Marines are their own group serperate from the Imperiumm their duty to the Emperor and sworn to protect the people of the Imperium. So the soul drinks and the Inquisition seem to be wrong in those books. A tough situtation in deed.

I've also read the omnibus. And the Chapter Wars. And Mm. The Soul Drinkers are an amazing Chapter. But.. One that is unstable. They're mutated.. It doesn't matter what they try to say now.. they have been tainted.. and they will always be hunted. -shrugs- They're screwed. No matter how good they are.
Sucks.. But eh.. S'how I see it for them.

I see it more in their favor honestly, despite my dislike for anything Rogal Dorn. They did their job right and deserved their reward, but to sit there and say that it was their fault is kind of...eh? The Imperium really needs a tighter grip on the Adeptus Mechanicus anyways, it'd just be too easy for them to break away.
