RP for Lilith and Zephyrizon. Zeph ref: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/kat_aclysm/gaia_pet_storage/TheCataclysm_adult.gif---------------------------------- One thing was very apparent with the male Nightmare Kitsusagi right now.
He was furious, over his current situation. He was heavily conflicted and angry with himself also. He had started out with a wonderful disposition when he was a baby. Nothing worried him, and the entire world around him was a fascination, something to either sniff or curiously bite at.
He hadn't realized the truth until he grew. And then his mother had ruined his innocence for him. She had told him about their species, their story, their curse. She had told him that because of the actions of their ancestors, they were to be forever blinded. She had educated him about the cruel hearted wild Nightmare that lived in Sceaduwe.
And although Zephyrizon had sworn not to be like the creatures that he had only heard about in the stories so far, he feared that now he was an adult, he WAS like them.
The ashen-grey adult Nightmare clawed at the dirt and made a loud rowling noise. He stalked through the open grassland area of the Realm territory, nose to the air. Something had to be done...

The night was truly what the nightmares belonged in. Normals or angelics couldn't possibly see too well in the dark. Especially in the pitch darkness of the night. With no surrounding lights from HQ or any other place anything would have a hard time seeing. Sight, however, was of no concern to the nightmares. From very birth they could never see, blinded by their curse. But because of this their other senses heightened. Most especially sense of feel. Everything else was secondary.
Her dark forked tongue slithered in the darkness, taking in any "scents" along the way. She found a most peculiar one up ahead. One of her own race. Perhaps this one would share the same or similar views as herself. It would be rather interesting to bounce ideas off one another. She could barely tolerate those normals and angelics any longer. Or the ones who accepted their curse so easily without a fight, living side to side a peaceful life with those despicable creatures. How utterly disappointing.

Zephyrizon stopped in his tracks, ears high on his head now. Had he heard... movement? He flicked his tongue out of his mouth, tasting the scents on the air. There was something there, but it's true nature was clouded by the other scents of pine and plants in the air.
A small rowl rose up in his throat - was it a Normal Kitsusagi?
He turned his head towards the source of the scent, but the creature was out of his his aura-sensing ability range right now. He cared little for being stealthy and gave a loud rumbling grunt to the area in front of him.
"Who is there?" He called out, irritated. His tails flicked behind him, and he snorted. If this was indeed a Normal, it would receive the blunt end of his wrath this evening. He was in no mood to play around.

How cute, roused up over nothing. It wasn't as if Lilith was trying to hide her presence or anything. That wasn't her style at all. Not that she would intend to harm anything physically. Breaking things down bit by bit was so much more fun. The slow decay of one's mind was much more enjoyable. She could definitely see the progress with each sentence, each word. That's what she enjoyed best.
"I am here, I am there, I am everywhere. Or am I really nowhere at all?" She called out loud enough for him to hear. It didn't matter if he was a nightmare or not, it was always fun to play using words. Most especially if they're frustrated for whatever reason. They're most fun to play with in that state.

Zephyrizon made a deep-throated roar as if sounding out a warning, maw wide open, teeth bared in a snarl. His ashen grey and yellow banded tails waved low at his hinds in his annoyance, and then he raised his front paws up, aggressively thumping them on the ground again.
"Don't play that dumb game with me - you will fail." He snorted. "Once you're close enough, regardless of whether I'm facing you or not, you're going to light up like a wildfire in my senses."
Another taste of the air told him that the owner of the scent was still some distance away. He was assuming the owner of the voice was a Normal Kitsusagi, and by the sound of her taunt, it was looking for a fight.
If it was a fight the Kitsu wanted, he was only happy to oblige. Zephyrizon lowered his head, pinning his ears back, brandishing his dark coloured blood-tipped horns.
"Come out, come out wherever you are, little normal Kitsusagi." Zephyr said with a low purr, maliciously grinning now. "And then we will see whom is the superior race."

She could easily tell that by his actions he was obviously very annoyed by her presence. How silly of him. Getting worked up over such a trivial thing such as her mere presence? He was acting like some lowly normal. Only they would react so strongly and quickly to the presence of a nightmare. Either way, this would prove entertaining. A nightmare acting like a normal...what a laughable matter.
Lilith was neither hiding nor playing dumb. As the both of them communicated, she was making her way towards him at the pace she started with. She didn't have to mask her presence anywhere. Unlike those brainless normals she knew her limits enough to know when to back down. Of course, she would never confront anyone in a physical fight. Especially not with a normal. They weren't even worth it.
Normal? Did he just call her a normal? Typically she wasn't one to get insulted so easily, but to be called a normal of all things? Tch, how distasteful. Such a lowly blow. Below the belt, even. She would keep her composure, though. If she showed her inner feelings over this insult, he would gain the upper hand.
"Normal?" She laughed, "What is normal? Are you and I both not normal? Or are we different simply because of what we are? Hmm, yes, how does one define 'normal'?"

"I am not normal," Zephyrizon began, sitting firmly on his haunches. "I am a pureblooded Nightmare Kitsusagi, and proud of the fact." He turned his head towards the prescence as her aura began to glow in his aura-sensing field, smirking. "Define normal? Normal is boring. Normal is... well. If Normal is those pathetic Normal Kitsusagi, then I don't want to ever be that way."
He tilted his head at her in curiousity, one ear raised.
"Ah, but you are not normal either, are you?"

He seemed rather proud of the fact that he was a nightmare, yet at the same time cursed his existence of blindness. At least, he seemed to agree that those normals were despicable and just in the way. They were part of the reason why their ancestors were cursed. Why now, after so many years the two of them were forever blinded.
"Even if I was, what of it? Or if I was not, what difference would it make? You have already came to an assumption, asking me what I was was in fact, unnecessary. Your pre-made judgments will follow through no matter what. Unless that is, of course, that you know for sure which I am." Her tails flickered behind her while her skinless maw raised into a grin.

An abrupt aggitated snort escaped the nasal cavity of the ashen-grey Nightmare Kitsusagi, and he tilted his head in curiousity at the female, seeming to be intruiged by her words.
"Forgive my immediate assumption, my friend, I have a habit of assuming the worst-case scenario. Until you walked into my sensing-radius, I had no idea what you were. And now, judging from the shape of your aura, both in size, and the fact that you have whisps growing off of your back in much the same manner as my mother," Zephyrizon explained, smirking, "I would come to the conclusion that you are the same as I am."
"And, what of it?" He raised his head, producing a low rumbling sound that almost resembled a purr. "If you are not a Normal, then you and I are of the same mould, of the same ancestry, and carry the same curse. And thus, you and I are equals, and of the same blood."
He sat on his haunches, chuckling.
"Tell me," He grinned, "Do you hate them, too? The Normal Kitsusagi, those spineless pathetic weak individuals that taunt us for our mere existance?"

His words rang true. They were in fact equals. Both of them carried the same curse, both of them of equal race. Of course, those normals would see it a different way. They would see that everyone was "equal". Quite the bullcrap, honestly. Not everyone was equal, not even amongst the normals themselves. There were always those who showed abilities which were higher than that of others, or some lower than others. If everyone were equal, would there even be nightmares as it were? Probably not. Those normals and their idealistic naive ideals.
"Hate them? What is hate? Hate is a rather inappropriate word to describe the situation at hand. Those normals have swam up in those clouds for far too long. Their ancestors cursed ours, and now we carry through that curse despite so many years since then. Those normals are filth. I wish my curse upon them, then they will truly 'see' for the first time." Each word she spoke was laced with hostility. Her hate for the normals cannot even be described in proper words.

Zephyrizon listened to all that the other had said, and he was purring now, the edges of his maw upturned in a devilish grin. His tails slowly rocked to and fro behind him as he thought hard. Inside, he was conflicted. He did not want to be like the Nightmares he had heard about, that pushed each other around. He respected his own kind, felt a sense of kinship towards them, even.
No, he was not like the horrid creatures in Hale's stories. However, he still hated some of those stories.
"I do agree with you, female." He said quietly in reply. "To think that all Nightmares everywhere are being punished for all eternity becuse of something that happened eons ago... it makes my blood boil." He snorted. "And you are indeed right. It is because of them that we are to be punished."
A low rowl escaped him.
"I wish to seek revenge," He stated simply. "Would you care to join in such an adventure? It could be..." He smirked and flexed his claws. "...exciting."

Their reason, their motivation was wholly justified. If anyone were in their shoes, they'd feel the same hatred for the normals as they do now. What did their ancestors' mistake have to do with them, anyway? It was such a long ago event. So why did they have to carry the curse? There was no reason why they should be shunned and forever blinded because of a few couple mistakes in the past. She knew that even if all the normals ceased to be nothing would change the curse. It was irreversible, she knew, but she would not so easily accept it like some of those other, "weaker" nightmares.
As she spoke, her voice seemed to hiss with hatred, "Adventure? Revenge? What revenge? Temporarily it sounds interesting, but it also seems as if the interest will fade fast. Fade fast and fickle like the wind. What sort of revenge do you speak of?" Her tails swished lightly behind her from the excitement. "Mental deterioration, perhaps? Watching them break down piece by piece slowly is most enjoyable."
