Isabel was sitting leaning against a tree with Sariel sitting next to her. "Oh Sariel." She said patting the little Ulaiths head. "It's been a while since another has crossed our path. Maybe today...though I did say that yesterday." Isabel trailed off as she pulled out a hunk of dried meat and some bread from her bag sitting on the ground. "We really should get up and find someone before we eat all our of provisions." She said with a laugh as she tore a chunk of meat off the little ulaith at her said. Quickly Sariel wolfed down the meat, slender tail thumping the ground. Isabel laughed as she ate her bread with a smile.

  A few yards away in a grove of maple trees sat Jihi with her two Ulaith and Ta'ael companion. "Fresh fruit sounds good right about now, doesn't it, Omrin?" Jihi said with a giggle as she pulled out her pack. From it she produced various handfuls of fruit: apples, pears, peaches, figs, bananas and a watermelon, to place in front of the earthy colored creature. He let out a satisfied squawk.
"Thank you very much, Jihi," said Omrin in her mind.
His Chosen merely waved her hand before pulling out some fish and a few vegetables for the little green Ulaith beneath her. At the sight of the food, Raeli jumped up excitedly. Fish and vegetables were her favorite. "Yes, I know you're hungry, too. Here you go, little one." The precise moment Jihi had set down the food Raeli was already on it, devouring away.
Niluu chuckled. "Nothing like a good lunch to make the day better".

Sariel perked her head up at the faint sound of a voice. Thumping her tail she looked up excitedly at her chosen. Turning towards the gleeful little ulaith Isabel looked around puzzled at Sariel's enthusiasm. "Is there someone else here?" She asked as Sariel jumped up and began wandering off in the direction she heard the voice. "I will that that as a yes little one." She followed after her bonded, closing her pack after shoving the uneaten meat and bread back inside. Off into the distance past Sariel she spotted what the little ulaith was heading for. "Another Chosen I'm guessing." She said as she spotted the girl and the two ualiths with her. "And what the hell is that fuzzy thing?" She commented at the Ta'ael.

"That "fuzzy thing" is a Ta'ael, and my name is Niluu," he corrected promptly, his tail ruffling. Jihi chuckled and gave Raeli's Ta'ael companion a pat on the head. "Don't mind Niluu," she exclaimed as she peered up at Isabel with a friendly grin, "he's like this a lot." The teenager's eyes then drifted down toward little Sariel.
"That is a beautiful Ulaith you have there. She is very unique."
Both Omrin and Raeli had finished their lunches by the time Isabel and Sariel had arrived. Seeing another Ulaith her age made the small Ulaith instantly hyper, and Raeli ran over to Sariel without a moment's hesitation. She had already wanted to make friends. Omrin, on the other hand, preferred to sit back and watch the scene unfold as he often did. To him, it was better that way.

"A Ta'ael?" Isabel repeated back staring at Niluu. "I'd never seen one before. May I should look into finding one for Sariel." She said with a smile. "Oh, my name is Isabel." She said with a slight bow. "And that is Sariel. It is nice to see someone besides myself all the way out here." She said with a smile as she walked closer to the girl. "And your name is?"
Sariel pounced upon other small ualith, rolling her over playfully.

"My name is Jihi," she began, holding out her hand, "the little green Ulaith playing with your little Sariel is Raeli, and the brown Ulaith over there is my Omrin. You've already met Niluu." Upon being introduced Omrin bowed his head respectfully, and then turned to watch the two little Ulaith play together.
Raeli let out a small growl, pouncing on Sariel lightly.
"I highly suggest getting a Ta'ael for your Ulaith. They are said to bring good luck to anyone who has one."

Isabel took Jihi's out stretched hand with a smile. "Nice to meet another Chosen. What a lovely bonded, so much bigger than our babies." She said with a laugh referring to Sariel and Omrin who were still off playing. "Ta'ael bring luck huh? I must get one then. We could use some luck." She said with a chuckle.
Sariel rolled under Raeli and squirmed her way out. Running in a circle around the other ulaith she swooshed her tail happily.
"Well it looks like those two are having fun." She said with a smile as she sat down next to Jihi.
