The Who vs. The Doors

Personally I have heard quite a few songs by both bands and I think I'd have to say I like The Doors much more than The Who. I'm not 100% sure why because there are barely any songs by both bands that I hate with a passion or dislike at all. Personally I really love Jim's voice. =3 But I agree that they are both very talented bands. There right up there with the Beatles and the Rolling stones. 3nodding
SO; what do you guys think?

I know The Who is, but I haven't listened to much of them. I like The Doors though, but maybe because I barely listen to The Who. ^^;

Lol, well both The Who and The Doors in my opinion are classic rock bands. But personally why I think I might like The Doors more is lyrics wise. Now that I think of it as time went on lyrics has degenerated. I mean originality has kinda lessened in some music fields if not all in parts...
Don't get me wrong that there are many bands that are very equine but now that I think of it most songs are written about the same topics over and over again in just different perspectives...
It kinda make's you wonder where all the creativity has gone in the music world or the fact that it’s out there but just not being portrayed....

I aree with you Kari. There seems to be alot of that happening, it's not only in music though, but that is the topic here so I won't go into anything else. I know what you mean though. Some bands/artists don't have much creativity, but there are a lot of artists/bands that do. I think it has to do with what the people want though and the fact that most people don't even write their own lyrics. That's starting to change, but it hasn't for everyone just yet.
