A normal life isn't very normal when you're not really alive. The mafia, the black market, every gang from Singapore to San Fransisco is under the control of a secret society.. of vampires and their head family's eldest lord is soon to be retireing and the entire underworld is up in arms about who will, could, or should take his position. However, first in line to take over his Sire's underworld empire is Kal a seemingly normal highschool teacher at the prestigeous Cardinal Bourne Academy. On the oppisite side of the spectrum he's also on the FBI's top ten most wanted men. one strange situation, and his world is screwed up in the best way.

Character name: Kallikrates Noctis Rex (Kal)
Age: looks twenty but is actually around fifty (still very young for vampires)
Picture: (he doesn't really wear stuff like that^^)
Bio: When he was a young vampire Kal lived mostly with his Sire and considers him and his bride his real parents as they consider him their son. Despite that, Kal whent through alot of trouble to assure himself his position in the Underworlds Elite most of which was illegal accounting for his reputation with the FBI and Interpol. On the flip side he teaches High school math and physics and has been awarded teacher of the year for two years in a row. Beyond all of this is a near non existent social and romantic life though his parents are pressuring very hard to find himself a Bride or two. (lol)
Character Name: Serenity Kyle
Age: 19 (but she's actually 45)
Appearance: 
Bio: Serenity spent most of her life with her parents in Singapore. She learned all she need to learn about living a life as a vampire from her mother. When Serenity was older, around her early 20's, she moved away from home and moved to a small apartment near Cardinal Bourne Academy. She applied to the school as a senior just to have a little fun since she never really went to school. She also applied to the school because she heard that the math and physics teacher, was none other than Kallikrates Noctis Rex, the vampire that was to take over as Sire. It is her dream to meet him and become his wife, no matter the cost.

A normal day, normal life... well as normal as can be expected. Not for long. Kal or Mr. Kal as he was called at school, walked through the bustleing halls of Cardinal Bourne academy easily faking a smile to anyone who waved to him. Other wise he was not paying attention at all or he might have noticed the out of place smell distinguishing humans from vampires, but no. He pulled at the uncomfortable tie and took a needless breath feeling the starchly stiff shirt squeeze at his large shoulders much more than normal. He came to the end of the hall and hopped up the stairs easily mentally running over the things he had to get ready before the bell rang. Reverting to his natural schedual was costing him suring the days, dammit, i was only tired by the time i was supposed to be getting up! He sighed to himself as he pulled the key ring from his right slack pants pocket and slid it easily into its place. Kal held the door open for the group of students trying to shove their way into the now open classroom as he flicked the light on. Just as he followed the last of the students he froze as the framiliar scent hit him, there was another vampire in this room...

Serenity walked into the classroom carrying only a binder in her arms. She had just transferred to Cardinal just a few days ago and she was already disliking it. All the rushing made her head spin. As Serenity went to a desk at the back of the room, she took a quick whiff of the classroom, expecting to smell the usual scent of humans. But as she took a deep breath, she smelled the scent of a vampire. Could it be? She knew of only one vampire at this school and he was no student. She looked up at the teacher, Mr. Kal, and saw his eyes. They were not like any other humans. He's so handsome! And he will be mine! Time to play the teacher's pet game! Serenity grinned to herself and sat up straighter, looking at her "teacher" with all her attention.

Kal forgot immediatly about how tired he was as he stepped into the class room with a perfectly smile as he immediatly found where the smell was coming from, a pale girl in the back, who was also looking at him. He couldn't keep a little grin from his face. She's good, not many Vampires come to places like this, in broad daylight no less. He looked back to the papers in his hand and went to his desk to make sure he wouldn't draw attention to her. He laid his small brief case on his desk and tried not to growl to himself as the white shirt and jacket bit into his arms painfully and terribly irritating! He gave another tug at his tie as he pulled papers out of his brief case and walked over to the board openning a marker and scrolling out a quick Antiset for the class. From there he took a look at the papers he'd graded and walked around to different desks laying them face down and occasionally giving a small 'good job' or 'you can do better' he passed a few desks away from his vamppiric visitor when he caught an underlying scent, Kal couldn't quite identify it but, whatever it was under her normal vampiric scent, it smelled good.

Serenity waited for Mr. Kal to finish returning papers. She leaned back on her chair casually and crossed her arms over her chest. She couldn't help but smile deviously at her luck. She never thought that getting to him was going to be this easy. You just gotta love high school! She turned her head to look straight at him, even if he tried to pass her desk on purpose, she still wanted to take a good look at him. She looked him up and down and her smile widened. She loved what she was seeing. So this is the man that will be taking the Sire's place! Nice choice! Serenity turned her head away from Mr. Kal's direction and looked around the classroom. She then flirtatiously ran a hand through her long silver hair, then side glanced Mr. Kal to see if he noticed.

Kal had noticed but he gave no such sign, after all they were at school of all places! Just keep it professional. He walked to the front of the room and asked quickly, "Is everyone Done with the Antiset..?" When a few nodds were given he took four markers from the tray and said "I need four voulanteers, write out your methods.." he tossed a few markers a hands went up and wondered quietly what she would do, what is it that she'd doing here..?

Serenity watched lazily as the other students raised their hands to catch the incoming markers. She slouched down on her chair and left her arms crossed over her chest. The truth was she had not a clue what Antisets were about and did not really care. The only reason why she was even in that classroom in the first place was because of the man standing at the front of the room. That was her only assignment, and she was going to use all the techniques she had learned through the years to achieve it. She turned her head to the front of the room again and just stared at Mr. Kal with a blank look on her face. He's just too gorgeous! I wonder if he gives "private" lessons!

Kal caught the girl at the back watching him for a moment, as the four students shuffeled out of their desks and over to the board. Kal whent over to his desk for a moment and pulled out the roster sheet, aperantly she was well connected, she got on the roster in one day and he hadn't even heard about it. Serenity Kyle... he put the roster down and walked to the front catching the four markers that were getting tossed back to him easilyin one hand as he said
"Before we go any further, I'd like to point out that we have to new student in our class.." He looked to Serenity and said "Miss Kyle if you would be so kind as to introduce yourself..?"

Serenity looked up and smiled sweetly at Mr. Kal and the other students. She got up slowly and leaned on her desk, her arms still crossed over her chest.
"Well, I'm Serenity Kyle. I transferred here yesterday, luckily! Before I came here, I was home schooled by my mother so I don't really understand this school policy stuff! And well, that's as much as you're going to know!" She turned back to her chair and sat down quickly. She slouched on her chair and smiled at the teacher. Her whole introduction wasn't a total lie. Her mother did teach her things that were good to know in life, but they weren't acedemic subjects. She looked down at her binder pictured her life back home.

((last post sry, i'm really tired thanks for Rping w/me ^^))
"Thank you Serenity." Kal said as he turnned back to the board and took a marker of a different color and corrected some small mistakes and walked them through the warmup before continuing with the lesson plan. Within the last twenty minutes Kal gave the students time to start on their homework and he was about ready to rip the sleeves off his jacket. Still he walked over to his desk and took off the jacket throwing it over the back of his swivel chair before going back to walk between the rows to answer questions and help out in the last part of the class period.

Serenity looked down at her homework assignment that she was almost finished with. But every once in a while, she would look up at Mr. Kal and admire his broad shoulders. Hmmm....just like all the others vampires! But even better! She finished the last of her homework assignment and closed her binder. She leaned back on her chair again and just looked out the window boredly. She wondered what there was to do in this school after these classes. She looked at the clock to check how many more minutes there was of class, but then she remembered that she didn't even know. She sighed and opened her binder again. She picked up her pencil and began to draw Mr. Kal, making sure that he doesn't see it. She drew him not as the Kal she sees in front of her, but the real vampire form he is. He looks so much more cuter when he looks more like a vampire than a human!

Kal finished walking around the classroom and went back to his desk blinking hard as sleep fuzzys tried to blur his vision. He made a pile of the homework of another class tried not to get too irritated at how messy the pile was, is it really all that hard to keep a paper from wrinkling like an old prune for just twenty four hours..? He Blinked again and glanced up at the other vampire at the back of the room ademetly working on something. He sifted a few more papers before he said aloud to the class "Okay, your homework from last night needs to be in my hand before you leave or it will be a zero in the grade book." His comment was followed by alot of shuffleing and the noise level of talking also went up as the bell was about to ring. The students stood quickly pushing in their chairs and passinghim by with a wave as they went out the door and tossed their homework to him. After catching the last of the floating and handed papers he took them to his desk and put the pile beside another clases home work and looked up to see if everyone had left.

Serenity grabbed her things and got up slowly as she heard the bell ring. When the last person went out of the room, she walked over to Mr. Kal's desk. "Uh, Mr. Kal? I didn't do yesterday's homework, seeing as I'm new here. Does this mean that I'm getting a zero on that?" she asked him shyly. She looked down at her binder, the drawing of him still in the front, just waiting to be finished. She had the sudden urge to just take her pencil from her ear and draw the last touches to Mr. Kal's face, since he was right there. But she didn't, she didn't want him to see her drawing. So instead she just stood in front of him and waited for his answer.

"Not at all, as long as you adequetly display that you understand the material being taught from here on out you will not have anything you haven't learned on the final." He responded and articulated perfectly, trying not to notice the sketch in front of her notebook and trying even harder not to be too curious about it. "But.." He started as he glanced over at the door quickly confirming that they were alone "I have a bit more pressing question to ask you, Serenity." He said dangerously, letting his natural voice slip through his fakely kind one as he moved around the desk so that they were standing closely in front of one another. "What are you doing here?"
