I'm working on a Simon cosplay for Reactor in Chicago this November and I figured it might not be a bad idea to throw up a thread about the wonderful world of Gurren-Lagann cosplay.
Anyone else working on a costume?
Anyone already have a costume made they'd like to share?

I've seen that Viral cosplay before :3
Does any one have any good suggestions on putting the red design onto a spandex/bathing suit material top? That's the ONLY thing keeping me from finishing my Yoko cosplay :/ (That and my wig hasn't arrived yet)

The name of that Kamina is Natsuomi, if anyone wishes to look him up. There are other sexy pics of him. And a couple of him in Kazuma's chicken suit from s-CRY-ed.
I really like bloody nose Viral.
For the cosplay, the only thing I could think of is making a pattern for the red material, cut it out, and sew it on...
Other Gurren cosplays (a couple of Natsuomi, and a really bitchass Leeron):

In the future, I want to cosplay short-haired Nia when she wears her jacket, that way I don't have to get a haircut ('cuz my hair is her length already) and I can wear something that covers my belly.
Which is also why I will never cosplay Yoko.

I'm still thinking about cosplaying Kamina to Otafest here in Calgary next year. I'll need to get into better shape before I go around in public shirtless though. If I can't manage that, I'll go for timeskip Simon. Either way, I want to wear that cape!
