Shaina woke with a start as someone stumbled into her room. "Get up wench!" he growled. She winced away from the smell of alcohol on him. He was drunk and that did not bode well for her.

"What do you want Nasga?" She spat at him. Nasga was fat, about twice her size and much stronger than her. He reeked from none to frequent baths and his greasy brown hair fell to his shoulders. She had been living here since her step mother sold her to him when she was eight. He was a cruel man who forced her to do his bidding what ever that might be.

He laughed and she shrunk back from him as he reached for her. She wished she was back in the world of ice and so she was. All of the fear and pain of her body vanished and she was left emotionless in the arms of her cold lover.

When she woke again her body was sore. Several of her ribs and her collar bone were broken. She managed to get up with much difficulty wincing at the pain in her ribs and her loins.

She stumbled out of her spartan styled room ignoring her tattered clothing and the blood that fell down her cheek. She made it down the ccreaky wooden stairs and into the main room. There she was to stare in awe at the guest that had come to Nasga's home.

This man had the face of an angel. His Dark hair fell about his strong face like black silk and his clear blue eyes had a felling of strength within them. She could not take her eyes away from his.

He suddenly turned on Nasga with such a look of rage in those ice blue eyes that he took a step back out of fear of this man's wrath. "Is this how you treat her Nasga? You knew damn well who she was and yet you would abuse her like this?" His voice was thick with hatred and disgust. Nasga attempted to babble something in his defense but his guest was beyond pity.

The man simply gestured at him and Nasga vanished. Shaina shrank back from him in fear but when he turned bk to look at her there was no anger in those eyes. "Don't be afraid princess Shaina. I have come to take you home. That filthy man will never touch you again."He reached out his hand and Shaina fell into blackness.

hehe I was in a bad mood and decided to write. I will do more later... not sure what though but I figure if i just let my self go on auto pilot it will all work out.

that's so awesome! the cliff hanger is a nice catch.
