Am I the only one that finds themselves randomly quoting Rocky Horror (or, I suppose Shock Treatment) in regular every day life? There has to be more out there. Haha.
For example, just the other day I was watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a friend of mine and there was a bit where the science nerd in me came out and said "whoa, that strength of sulfuric acid should mangle his arm, he shouldn't be able to use it after that" but then my friend and I coming to the conclusion that it's for dramatic effect and most people watching Buffy wouldn't catch on to that cause they're not all big science nerds like us.. then suddenly in my best Frank voice I said "I HAVE THAT KNOWLEDGE" and felt the urge to snap a pink rubber glove.
I also often times fight the urge to say "janet" after ever "dammit" and so on and so forth.
Anybody else have moments like these they would like to share?

Oh, totally! I try to restrain it around normal people, but when I'm with friends, whether they've seen it or not, I go quite mad. Last night at my friend's birthday party I climbed onto this girl's shoulders and started singing 'Wild and Untamed Thing' and stuff. And then I'd say 'Janet' after anyone said 'dammit', and was moaning 'Oh, Rocky! all over this men's sports magazine.
Oh, yeah. And I ran through a crowd of strangers the other day bellowing '"I'M JUST A DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE WOO WOO!" whee
Yes, I'm crazy.

Haha that's sweet. My one friend and I often break out into song and most of the time it's something from Rocky Horror... or we walk around town late at night and go through as much of it as we can.
Then there was the time in foods class where my awesome teacher let us listen to the soundtrack in class and 3 of us did the Time Warp.. and another day we randomly did the Time Warp after school in the hallway...

My friends and I Time Warp EVERYWHERE. No joke. xD
Ohh. We were playing Trivial Pursuit- Game Show or something, and I had to ask the question: "Something something who had a sword hanging above his head?" (I can't remember it exactly... but yeah.)
I TOTALLY SQUEALED but I had to restrain myself from singing. But no one got it, and they were like, "So... what's the answer?"
Me: ninja
"THE SWORD OF DAMOCLES IS HANGING OVER MY HEAAAAAD! (etc.)"
And I cannot say/hear someone say "Dammit!" without piping up "Janet!" and if my friend Deo's around, she'll sing, "I love youu!"
And the list continues... xD

I do that too , I am always singing I can make you a man... and doing the timewarp with who ever would join me , and off course I have to say "Oh Rocky!" 4laugh mrgreen

My friend Josh is actually my old Algebra teachers son, so when me and him were waiting on his mom to unlock the door to let us in for class we randomly started singing Time Warp in the hallway, dance and all.
"It's just a jump to left, and then a step to the riiiiiiight."
We were able to go through the song twice, and we got PLENTY of strange stares.
As for 'dammit', around my dad I usually end up adding "Janet''. He IS the one that got me into it, after all XD When I add janet around my friends there're just like "Uhm...who the hell is Janet?"

For the longest time after watching the movie for the first time my best friend and i kept saying janet after dammit, lol

I used to be so bad for quoting Rocky Horror in everyday life. Especially if I happened to be drinking.
For example, I was at a friend's party when I was 16. I don't remember much that happened, but I remember I had on a pouffy hot pink dress that belonged to my friend's mother and luckily I had a spare RHPS soundtrack in my fur coat pocket... so I put it on and started singing "I Can Make You a Man" (both of them) and doing the dances. heart
At the end, my best friend was like "That was awesome!" surprised
Then this one time that was especially memorable when I was in university... my friend and I were having a smoke and we were trying to avoid this freaky dude that would follow us... so as we were going in and trying to make him not see is, I was like, "We'll play along for now and pull out the aces when the time is right." >.>;
She didn't know what the hell I was talking about, but she laughed. lol

I think most of has this illness. Every time it rains and someone is soaking wet I almost always have to restrain from saying "You're wet". I also have this affliction with Eddie Izzard. Most of the people who know me think I'm nuts. xp

A lot of the time, whenever I see or hear something I really like, I say, "Oooh Rocky!" Some people get it, some don't. Pooh on those who don't. :]
I also have the same problem as SmartTart on occasion. But normally, it's when people are complaining about being wet. "Yes. It's raining." x3
