There is indeed talk of a MGS flick up-and-coming, however the only information released at the moment (via interview with Heido), is that Uwe Boll will NOT have anything to do with the project.
At this news, MGS fans around the world fell to there knees and gave thanks. 3nodding blaugh

I really don't see the point in a movie, since MGS is pretty much an interactive movie anyway.
Yeah, it's a game, but I'm sure all of the cutscenes and codec conversations add up to 2 hours at least.
But let's just hope they do it right.

I think he also may have mentioned something about if Mr Boll was seen near the set they would crack out the tazers... lol cool

IMDB says this as the plot:
"This film follows a similar plot to the popular computer game and follows Solid Snake on an adventure to destroy Metal Gear Rex, a mobile tank capable of firing nuclear missiles from any terrain."
Im pretty sure that more will come.

jediapprentice6700 They say they might be selling movie rights to it. What does that mean? I heard the kojima was going to be like, real close to the movie. Like director, or something like it. I think I read some info about it on wikipedia too, so look there.
