Do different colored wings mean something different. I have black wings, and they always associate that type of wing color with death, which i believe is totally not true since i, if i do say so myself, am a very nice and caring person. ive heard of blue wings and the classic white. My question once again is, does different wing color mean something?

I believe (mind you I'm not an expert but from what I've seen) that it can mean something, but not always. There are so many things it can relate to, like your aura or what you are, the power you hold, even your lineage could factor into it. *For you experts out there, don't bash me if I'm wrong please. Oh, and no, black does not always mean death. I hate stereotyping!! Also, it depends on the kind of wings you have. It would really be best to think on what you think the color black, plus the size and type of your wings means to you/what you think it all means in reference to you and then ask someone you know to be reliable and knowledgeable on the subject what they think-although if you feel convinced don't let someone sway you.

According to the old legends, the angel of death has brilliant white wings, so i think black has just been given a bad rep.

Plus, in color magic terms, black is a color not of death, but of power and energy absorption. It's also a color of protection because it can absorb negativity.

As far as the color of your wings having a meaning... Well, I think that depends on the person. My wings were originally grey, then peach, then black, and now they're green. My constructed wings are also green, but that's because I got them to match. wink In my case, my wings changed as I learned more about myself. I got into a bad time of my life where my outlook on myself and others was very bleak, and that's why they turned black. They're green now because I finally have a better sense of inner balance.

I used to think wing colour meant a lot; my guide originally showed up to me with these huge black wings, and I thought maybe he was a fallen angel because of it. But, he's not...though his energy is a bit on the darker side and he's sarcastic and aloof. They just seem to suit him, but I never equated him with death or anything.

So I personally currently think wing colour doesn't mean anything most of the time, and I'll continue to think that until something shows me otherwise. 3nodding

Not necessarily. Sometimes color has meaning, sometimes it doesn't. I think it's up to you to determine whether or not your own wing color has meaning, and if so, what. All we could do is guess...

I'm not sure, I would guess that if you are an average angel, not a keeper or guardian or messenger, that your wings would be the color of your hair.

I was thinking about color and usually, in cultures, white is the color of death.

D:

So, I don't think you should worry about it.
