Whats with popularity contest like parties being held o the same night as your best friends and then student body officers. its almost like we are expected to just throw our lives away to please other people. Thing is when they do this they say we have to stand out and be diffrent. Turns out in the real world it is the peopel who won teh popularity contests get to also be the big people who run corporations because they are eye pleasing and know how to tell people what they want. But then we all hate those people as well because they seem to soak up all the attention when they are in the room. As much as we love it when they are there and making the time a good one we still hate them cause as it appears to us they are soaking up all teh attention. But do we ever stop to think they may be thinking the same thing about us. Wishing they could be like us not always having to come up with a witty comment or havign to be perfect. Its almost like they think we are popular and not them. I have often seen the case where some one who is popular sees another as popular. what is popularity really? to be liked by a group of other people is essentially what the natural human mind says. But then The personal eye never sees themself as popular. So alot of peopel who are really popular are walkign around thinking that they are not popular when in fact they are. every one has soem one that they look to and alot of people pick the same person unconsously. so whats teh big deal. write a list of your friends. Take a look at the peopel you communicate with on a daily basis and think. This person actually talks to me wich must mean that they actually like me. If they like me that means I'm more then just normal. That means I am some one after all.
