Rune

Rune was my first SaL boy, obtained through an Easter Flatsale in mid-April of 2006 colored by Tsuki Sohma (he was later colored by Andrani for his adult stage). He took over a year to grow up, and in many ways this "waiting" has made him not only my first (capitalize that if you want) but also most beloved boy.

Rules

Rules will be pretty generic for the most part, including Gaia, Shop, and Guild rules, plus any that the individual journals might require. If you want to RP with my boys, you'll adhere to these general rules.

* Follow the Gaia Terms of Service. They seem pretty straightforward to me... No spamming, No scamming (or ads of any kind O_o; ) in these threads. Material should be PG-13. No higher!

* Follow shop rules! Believe it or not, this shop was founded on this idea: Shounen-ai (literally cute/pretty boy love) is a cute interaction between boys. It is NOT Yaoi, it is NOT Hentai. Courtship is fine. Hot, steamy relationships are not. Lewdness and insinuation are also not. I have boys from other shops that geared for that mentality.

* No posting in these journals unless you are me. I will know you are not me, so don't try to pull a fast one. xD Shop owners also have this right to post, though if there is something here that you want me to take down, please just PM it to me. I'm flexible and approachable that way.

Updates

Updates for my boys will follow a pretty standard timeline-style updating system, starting from when I first received them. However in the cases with boys who arrived as adults, of course their timelines will predate that.

History

Not sure if this will just be history of before my boys came to live with me, or if it will include other story bits (like... updates?).

Home

All aspects of a boy's home will go here - from the location and environment, what he likes and dislikes about it, to where he really feels at home, if not in a physical house. This section may include maps, photos, and other illustrations.

Relatives

Whom does this boy consider family? They may be related by blood, circumstance, or feelings of closeness - such as a boyfriend or mate, and children. This also includes the boys he has lived with, from this and any other shops.

The "brother" Rune is closest to, but only because of proximity. Achos and Rune have been together the longest, and though they rarely get along, do accept eachother for whom and what they are. Rune does not understand how Achos could have grown into such a dark and bitter person, but knows that the secretive bat has had a hard life, to say the least. And Achos knows that most people are weak and frivolous, just that Rune is not as bad as some.


The most effeminate of the bunch, Delphinium seems to like Rune best - probably because he is so quiet and often has interesting "nonsense" to amuse him with. Because of his unassuming demeanor, Rune often finds himself dragged along when Delphi "needs" to go shopping. Not that he minds the girly stuff too much, he actually likes the attention.


The "brother" Rune sees least often would have to be Leith Tansik due to his wandering ways. But when he is home and still smelling of the great outdoors, Leith likes to tell him of all the places he has been and of his adventures there. When the sun is low on the horizon, they often share their dreams of the future. Together they have toyed with the idea of writing Leith's memoirs.


Ravimira Gorim is probably the one Rune knows the least and is probably more intimidated by than anyone, including Achos. He does have one thing in common with Rune, and that is their love of the city. Because of this, he sometimes takes the bunny and Delphi on joyrides into the city, as long as they promise not to drag him into any "fru-fru" shops.


Though he may look tough, Sunil En-lil is actually a very friendly person. Early on, Rune helped soothe Sunil's worry that non-snakes would not accept him. One might find the snake-boy snoozing curled up around Rune while he reads his favorite book. Or... should the whole gang decide to go to the mall, Rune often invites him so that he can meet new people.

Acquaintances

Whom has this boy met in the past? In some cases this may be non-shop related info too! Will include pictures if possible, information about the person and where they met, and what my boy thinks about them.


A My Little Pony boy and Rune's secret crush, Para Sol was one of the first people the bunny met outside of his family. He is someone who has always been very nice to Rune, even with his shy nature (which they have in common!) and fear of groups. (owned by Enikil)

Photo Album

Each boy's photo album will include stage photos (when it applies) as well as fanarts by myself and other owners. Each picture will have a brief caption beneath it.

In the Box

It was only a short time that Rune was still in his box. During this time, his delivery-cat was very protective. They and the storks always are... which makes it difficult to see what's inside!

Childhood

Rune's growth was always stunted. Who knows if it was genetics or malnourishment due to long hours of study. It was not as if he was underfed, he simply didn't eat, like a lot of scholars (and gamers?) out there.

Adulthood

Finally reaching his adult height seemed to happen overnight. Or perhaps it was so gradual that nobody noticed. Rune never was and never will be very tall, and will probably will always be rather skinny. But he likes this new self, so who can be anything but happy for him!

Shounen-ai Love is currently owned by Andrani and Raving Sohma; original concept by L-Kun.

Original certs were done by... I honestly can't remember whom. ^^;

Lineart was done by L-Kun; except for Sunil En-lil, whose naga templates were drawn and shaded by Andrani.

Coloring was done by various artists. Tsuki Sohma colored Rune's first two stages, his latter by Andrani. Dooma colored Leith Tansik, colored and line-edited Delphinium. Andrani colored and line-edited Achos; also colored Sunil, Ravimira, and Para Sol.

The characters of Rune and the SaL boys whom he is "related" to (Achos, Sunil, Leith, Delphinium, Ravimira) are all © to me.

Para Sol's character is © to Enikil.

My Little Pony is © to Hasbro.

The following is an account of Rune's life according to himself. Some are archived roleplays as if he had been videotaped while they occurred. Others, when possible, will be actual journal entries written from his point of view and other snippets (who doesn't doodle, tape keepsakes and other fun stuff with their diaries?).
