Generally right now, I would be at church. But I over-slept my alarm. =[ I feel bad. But I've spent all morning reading and working on my devotional, so I've made up for it. I'm not WAY religious, but I am Christian, and my faith is important to me.
So I was wondering.
How many of you are religious? And what religions are you?
My youth pastor also told us that many Americans believe in God and Jesus, and are interested in learning more about the Bible.
Do any of you out there have a slight alignment of faith and have a desire to learn more about you own religion? Or other religions? How many of you go to church regularly?

I was baptized into the Catholic Church and I'd like to know more about my religion, but I haven't gone to church in so long. We've been pretty busy lately to be going regularly.

Yea. I was raised non-denominational Christian. And I still am. We went to church when I was little. Then we quite going when I was about 12. We just got too busy. But in October my current boyfriend [was just a good friend then] invited me to church with him, and ever since then I've gone with him. I like it. And I feel fulfilled right now. I'm stronger in my faith than ever.

I usually attend youth group on Wednesday's and church on Sunday's.
But lately I've been ditching it.
I am feeling agnostic.

I was bron and raised catholic, but here lately I've become estranged from the idea of religion. Its hard to tell who's right and who's wrong (or if anyone is, either way) so, I find myself no longer debating if there is or isn't a God, or if someone's more accurate then anyone else.
But, I don't hate by any means. Way too many teenagers today hate the idea of religion, which I've never much understood either. Its comforting, and it gives people hope; why hate such a thing? When its miss-guided and turned to hate, that's one thing.
Anyway, away from my babbling, I'd say I'm a Deist Doaist. I try and take the calm and patient approach to things in life, and refraim from freaking out too much (or as much as possible); its the 'let the chips fall where they may' concept. And Deist means that I believe there's some force out there, but he's not controlling what we do. Think like a watch maker - he makes the watch, but then he lets it run on its own.
I may not have formal religion, but I have a good idea, and that's the most important thing you can have. Like Kevin Smith said, "You can change an idea, a faith is much harder".

I'm really more agnostic than I am anything else, I went to church when I was very young with my grandma, but when she moved I stopped going. I don't hate religion, I really just don't think about it much I guess.

Hashmehere Im Christian.. ive stopped going to church though.. it bores me too much... Im Christian/Agnostic.... I dont have any interest in growing religiously... plus with my habits the church wouldnt quite take me in well... I usualyl go to chruch on holidays n such Aw. I'm sorry to hear that. Not trying to preach or anything, but I think the Bible is quite interesting. And that it gives hope and purpose to life. I think everyone who's put down "agnostic" should try going to church more often. Once again not trying to preach, but it says in the Bible that God will 'spit out' luke-warm Christians.
I'm glad to hear all of your views however.
