I was reading Anime Insider, and ADV is licensing Air TV in English!!!! Woohoo! Now only if they would do Kanon...
I remember seeing the announcement about 10 minutes after it was posted. I was shocked because Air just seemed like a series that wouldn't be worth licensing for a variety of reasons.
The first DVD comes out in August, though, and ADV said that theyll be releasing the DVDs monthly instead of bi-monthly. Which means that the entire series and movie should be out by the end of the year.
And regarding Kanon:

Regarding the possibility of licensing Kanon 2006, a series made by the same team that worked on Air, the panelists all hinted at the strong possibility of this happening. Greenfield asked fans to pay attention to future convention announcements, and mentioned that the voice actors for Air were chosen just in case they needed to make a cameo appearance in Kanon 2006, as is done in the Japanese version.
