Hai is at her evil plot bunnies again. (Note: Seer got certed under the cert border or something... she's not actually transparent. XD; I need to ask Mau about that.) _________ Seer backwinged her way to a pretty little stop and trotted into the new line of trees bordering the bottom of the mountain. She wasn't quite ready to leave the actual borders of Realm yet, for whatever reason... the still air, perhaps. There hadn't been so much as a hint of breeze all day, so there wasn't much sailing to be had if she headed out to Aear's ship.
Exploring seemed like the only other option, but flying in the quiescent air was far more tiring than having a wind to ride on, so she'd decided to give her wings a rest here and take a look around on foot. Who knew, maybe she'd run into something new today.

Melalindir was roving. It was something he did when there was particular unrest in the household...or Reunion was in a peculiar temper and started gnawing on his ears. He detested that, and did just about anything to prevent her from shredding his body parts in a fit of feminine ire.
There really was something wrong with her...Mela thought she needed to vent more often. She disagreed. Violently.
So right now they weren't talking to one another, and none of his fancy words or svelte words could possibly persuade her to come back over to his side of the fence, so to speak...and gods knew her family members weren't going to help, they didn't like him anyway.
And he would NEVER bring the subject up to his father. It didn't do to bring up sensitive subjects to a fire elemental.
Curling glumly beside a rock, Mela's tails draped themselves over the tip of his nose, and he closed his eyes, dozing in a multi-colored ball of fur.
If only there was a lady about to talk to, that would have made the day all better.

There was a lady around. Quite a colorful one at that. Seer crested the hill that Mela's rock sat on and paused, turning violet orbs to the sky and stretching her neck and one of her wings skyward in a hopeful way, but she shortly dropped them, a small pout finding its way onto her muzzle. She thought there'd been a breeze there, for a moment... Ah well, there was a nice view up here of the way she'd come, the trees not yet thick enough to obscure the scene below, so she sat and glanced curiously around the way she'd come. She hadn't yet glanced in Mela's direction so she hadn't noticed the colorful ball of fluff he presented.

Melalindir heard the rustle of her passing, lifting his head and sniffing, also finding that a breeze was nonexistent. Ah well, looks like he'd have to find out the old fashioned way.
Slipping to his feet, the deep violet kitsusagi spied the winged female, standing and searching for the wind that did not exist, and he suddenly thanked whomever had topped said breeze from occurring a thousand times over, if it had brought this lovely lass his way.
Even if they didn't want to play his way, at least there was conversation that was pleasant on the eyes. "Hello, m'dear..." He purred in greeting, nonchalantly making his way over to the female, tails swishing languidly back and forth. "...we don't see many angels out this way."

Seer jumped slightly. She'd been so intent on trying to find some wind that she'd completely been ignoring her surroundings. She recovered quickly enough and smiled cheerily. "Oh really? I've never been up this way before, so I wouldn't know..." She turned to face him and trotted forward to meet his steps, tails wagging. There was an air of innocence about her... not a matter of being childlike, just a matter of lacking experience. "I'm Seer! What's your name?" His languid movements weren't lost on her, and her expression drifted toward curious and perhaps slightly puzzled. She'd never seen anyone move like that before - at least not for her sake - and it put the beginning of some butterflies in her stomach.
