this would probably also be better with sound.
my roommate in college (1987) had a guitar similar to this .. actually, it was called a chapman stick. had all the bass strings and all the guitar strings on the same fret board. and my roommate played it a lot like it looks this guy is doing .. a lot of "taps" with the left hand.
