Sorry, silver.
My hubby's in the Army and has been serving in Iraq for over a year. A few more months until my baby girls get to see him ...

The army keeps on claiming more and more of me. So many of my closest friends are army now. I have a friend at West Point (whom I am crazy about), a pen-pal in Iraq, a friend at basic training at Fort Knox (whom I miss like crazy already), and a new friend who just transfered from the Air Force and will be in Virginia for 4 weeks and then Arizona for something like 20 weeks after that. Also, one of my best friend's husband is in Iraq (in my pen-pal's unit) and he won't be back until October and he has already been deployed for over a year. Damn the army, but I love it at the same time. Its just hard to have so many of my loved ones so far away.

well, me and my husband are both in the army. he has orders for afghanistan in january and I have no orders yet. Which could mean that I may get orders either before or soon after he gets home. I try not to think about that. It's really scary for the both of us.

My boyfriend is heading off to the Middle East early this August for over a year. Not going to be fun, but it's what he has to do. Meanwhile, I'm prepping for my own BCT in the Army & he's hoping that I don't get put with an infantry unit.

My cousin Matt is getting ready for his second tour in Iraq, and my little brother is in Basic Training as we speak. I'm worried a little for Matt, and I miss my brother.
I don't like waking up to an empty house, but both of my parents work. I wake up early so that I can see them off, and I don't have to wake up alone.
I miss my little brother.

My husband is in the army, got back from Iraq last december, he was in the group that got extended for four months... three weeks before they were supposed to come home.
If we stay where we are now, he will be going to iraq August 14th. We are supposed to PCS in April, if not sooner, to Alaska, where we will be off of the Iraq roster, or whatever its called. Right now we are just waiting to hear back from Fort Wainwright about some paperwork for me, EFMP stuff for my heart
