Any from England actually been stopped by the police regarding it?
Apparently we cannot smoke in "enclosed public areas"... =/
Enclosed is apparently: Somewhere with a roof and more then one wall... =/
Discuss please... Need help understanding...

you can't smoke in public areas. like, if it were your house or something and your parents didn't want you to smoke in it, then you wouldn't be aloud to smoke in it. its the exact same thing with indoor public places.

I live in Alabama, so I still have places to smoke. Family recreation centers are nice.

i break that law alot, me and my friends smoke in a shopping mall car park, just to defy the stupid law. never been arrested.

Not true anymore. It used to be so, but now, even if the building's owners policy allowed smoking before the ban, it is now automatically illegal, as it is a public place.
