Yeah, but rings will be easier for them to do, rather than go back give each item a stats.
It also evens the playing field so newbs and elitists can work together.
All and all rings are awesome.
But Ring Fu? Come on!

I'm disappointed about the rings. I really wanted weapons. The only weapons we have right now are MCs. I was hoping that with the battle system, we would get a weapon shop and many more weapons we could buy that were common items. I think that would have been fair, especially if they'd made them to be just as good as MC weapons in battle. I don't like the ring thing too much, unless they used it in addition to weapons. I just don't like weapons to be simply for show and have no use in battle. But I wouldn't get too excited about the battle system. Remember, they've made announcements about it before and then it's always months before we hear any more about it. I think if we get the battle system within two years we'll be lucky.

If Gaia only had ten articles of clothing, they would probably make something a lot like RO.

However, there are thousands of clothing items that would take hundreds of pixel artists to make within a year.

And thats just the single-pose items. Imagine multi-pose.

I prefer Gaia making the BS epic, not avatar graphically appealing.
