The Battle Arena is showing some life! I think we should have a discussion thread on this topic to try and make shure our knowledge levels are up to speed. From what I have been able to find out, there will be certain monsters which you will have to go out and defeat. There aren't any weapons of what we would consider a sword or anything like that. Instead they are going to use rings of which you are only allowed to carry up to 8 at any one time due to the fact that gaians only have 8 fingers. Each ring will give you a power such as throwing fireballs and such. As you use the rings your skill will increase, therefore allowing you to take on bigger and meaner monsters. The first monsters appear to be a little bit on the fluffy side, but i'm shure they are planning to have meaner versions of them or completely different ones as you advance. This is what I have been able to find out so far, so post anything that you have found out about it here and we can discuss how to get us up to speed and ready to take on the BATTLE ARENA when it finally gets released.

Yea the mobs look a little off right now, but thats fine with me, I cant wait to see some of these boss mobs...this update has me really excited about the system even if some people already dislike it.

You can check the announcements and they have a link to the battle arena info. In the info they have a few screen shots which make me beleive that this will be a single player quest style game. kind of like the older nintendo single payer games. If the battle system is like you say i will be quite please cause I have been fearing it would be turned into a player vs player for a while now. I have seen to many good sites turned into dust because of those on the internet who enjoy violence between two people.
Another factor of this system I will enjoy is it will be kind of like an old game I used to play years ago called Jewal Master. The one great thing about that game which i hope is in this one is the ability to combine powers. You could create many elemental blasts by mixing matching and experimenting.
