But I'm just glad to see this sick ******** was turned in.

I love birds, and peafowl are among my favorites. At the School of Horticulture Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls, I got to see a pea-pair ( xd ) perched on a low branch in a cage. They have a small aviary set up, I believe for rehab, but I'm not sure.

As you may know, peacocks have a loud, distinctive yowl, and as they're territorial, you can get them to yowl by yowling at them. I also coo at doves, and they coo right back. 4laugh

Some might say that animal rights activists only care about cute animals, which we know is wrong. I'd say the average person only cares about cute animals, whereas we see the cuteness inherent in every living thing. Well, almost. Tapeworms: not so cute.

My point is, it's good that people are outraged over this--a severely psychotic wretch killing a totally innocent, defenceless and beautiful bird. What needs to come out of this is a precedent for punishing animal cruelty. If it's wrong to kill a peacock, why can't it be wrong to kill a chicken?

Ugh, that makes me sick. I hope he gets some serious psychiatric evaluation and treatment.

This woman in my area was recently arrested for torturing and killing cats. I myself turned in this guy who was raising roosters for cockfighting (I don't know what happened with that, I hope something was done about him).

&& IF THERE IS NO LIGHT TO SPARE
I SHALL LOVE HIM AT THE SPEED OF DARK

I read a story some months back about some kids coming into a home && destroying the entire place, writing graffiti, trashing it && all. but that's not why it's relevant.
they cooked a puppy in an oven as well. scream if it's not okay for a puppy, why is it okay for a cow!? cows are perfectly cute! heart cute or not, every animal has a right to live a long, happy life....but agreed -- the only living, thinking being in the world I wouldn't struggle to help would have to be a tapeworm. x3;
I really hope that guy gets what he deserves.

There was a stray dog that used to roam around the high school I went to. For reasons unknown, he had a hole in his head. You could actually see inside of his skull. If that was not bad enough, people would kick dirt on him and whatnot. Speciesism is a serious problem in today's society.
