This is a Modern Fantasy Roleplay. No Elves, dragons, cat people, etc.
Magic. Realistic Magic. No "Wingardium Leviosa!". This magic deals with science. If you want to change something, you write a spell that tells the effects, what you're effecting etc..
Animals can talk, so can plants, electronics, etc. But only the Magic users can hear them. Magic isn't easy, It draws off the user's energy. So you can't just pull off a huge spell without feeling some consequence.
LITERACY. ((That means you COZY.))
RULES:
1. No godmodding, etc.
2. No SUPERPOWERFUL MAGI.
3. The magic has to be realistic. If you're going to do a spell, do it the Diane Duane way. ((So you want to be a wizard?)
4. LITERACY BITCHES.
5. Swearing is allowed, but no ******** this, ******** ********. ((COZY AND KYLE))

THE STORY
It all started in the library. He had hidden it in the library. He knew it would find anyone who could handle the gift. Some had picked it up, and put it back, feeling it was just a joke. But it wasn't. The Magi himself had entered the library, and left the gift within the walls. It was hidden within different books, which would change to fit the intrests of those who would receive it.
The library belonged to a High School, with ordinary kids, teachers, jocks, preps, goths, freaks, rockers, and geeks. And it would soon be the home of a few young magi. They would eventually form a bond. Maybe not all at once, but few by few. Some might discover one other user, some might discover more at a time.
Either way, It would be interesting.

Personality: Sardonic, Smart, Humorous, Can't stand stupidity. Gets impatient with slow learners.
Magic: Yes
Abilities: He's good with animals. Really good with animals. He has a gray kitten that stays at home while he's at school, but he talks to it when he comes home. He's fairly good with electronics. Especially mysteriously broken ones. His element is Earth. He's good with plants, he practically has an herb garden in his room. He can draw, and he uses that with his magic.
Magic and Art are a dangerous combo.
Physical Discription: Wears dark colored polos with some sort of black hoodie and straight leg jeans. Black Adidas, white laces. Dark brown Hair, "Emo Cut", Five foot ten. Glasses, no contacts.

Abilities: A manipulator of the air. Her skills when it comes to electronics are fairly decent, though nothing too advanced. Her intrest has been piqued by riddles and reasons.
Physical Description : Curled brown hair, blonde streaks periodically popping up. Green/blue/gray optics. Light colored demin jeans, accompanied by a mud brown tank-top tunic, and brown flip-flops. She usually has her camoflauged hoodie, in which seems to be a few sizes too big.
