Delphinium

Delphinium was a surprise (and greatly appreciated!) gift to me from Dooma on a day when I was feeling especially down. And because of the time of year, he was a great birthday gift too. His cute and forward attitude really brightened things up around here.

Rules

Rules will be pretty generic for the most part, including Gaia, Shop, and Guild rules, plus any that the individual journals might require. If you want to RP with my boys, you'll adhere to these general rules.

* Follow the Gaia Terms of Service. They seem pretty straightforward to me... No spamming, No scamming (or ads of any kind O_o; ) in these threads. Material should be PG-13. No higher!

* Follow shop rules! Believe it or not, this shop was founded on this idea: Shounen-ai (literally cute/pretty boy love) is a cute interaction between boys. It is NOT Yaoi, it is NOT Hentai. Courtship is fine. Hot, steamy relationships are not. Lewdness and insinuation are also not. I have boys from other shops that geared for that mentality.

* No posting in these journals unless you are me. I will know you are not me, so don't try to pull a fast one. xD Shop owners also have this right to post, though if there is something here that you want me to take down, please just PM it to me. I'm flexible and approachable that way.

Updates

Updates for my boys will follow a pretty standard timeline-style updating system, starting from when I first received them. However in the cases with boys who arrived as adults, of course their timelines will predate that.

Not sure if this will just be history of before my boys came to live with me, or if it will include other story bits (like... updates?).

Home

All aspects of a boy's home will go here - from the location and environment, what he likes and dislikes about it, to where he really feels at home, if not in a physical house. This section may include maps, photos, and other illustrations.

Relatives

Whom does this boy consider family? They may be related by blood, circumstance, or feelings of closeness - such as a boyfriend or mate, and children. This also includes the boys he has lived with, from this and any other shops.


This guy has one too many boulder-sized chips on his shoulder for Delphi's taste. Achos always has something snide or darkly incomprehensible to say, if he deigns it worthy of comment. Maybe if he lightened up a little... moved on... or at the very least decided to forgive the world for what a few individuals did to seriously screw up his life... they might have more to talk about.


Leith Tansik really is like a modern-day cowboy. It really is amazing how he carries the air of the Old West with him. Or something like that. He even calls Delphi by his full name, even when he told him it was all right not to - just out of courtesy! He has no sense for fashion unless you're living in the Trees somewhere. But he has a big heart and even puts up with Achos of all people. (What do they see in eachother anyway?) He's also fun to watch drunk... but the trick is to get him so drunk he won't remember it in the morning...

Ravimira Gorim is very likely The Coolest guy around, at least in Delphi's opinion. He likes fast cars, parties, bars, and ... lots of other cool stuff. Yeah. The guy's biggest personality flaw however, is his overwhelming need to be in control. This might be a lot of fun in some situations, but if he would get in the back seat (yeah, like Achos) and Lighten Up, life would be a lot easier for everyone.


Rune is THE cutest thing with floppy ears, and he's so willing to try on new clothes (even though he eventually goes back to shorts and a T as soon as Delphi's done with him). Or perhaps he's just shy and craving company, who knows? He rarely has anything negative to say about anyone, and has some interesting reserves of knowledge. Delphi comes to him whenever he needs advice, even if he knows Rune would know nothing about the subject matter. (He's certainly smart enough to improvise an answer.)

Delphi definitely likes Sunil En-lil, though he's not sure where the snake got the notion that non-snakes would never like him. What's not to like? Snakes like to cuddle almost as much as cats... when the cat feels like it. Regardless of his shortcomings (the boy really needs to get out more), he has a generally sunny disposition and is more open-minded than his ignorance might suggest.

Adulthood

It is truly a shame that no photos of Delphi growing up exist. Most certainly he an adorable child and would have enjoyed the attention.

Shounen-ai Love is currently owned by Andrani and Raving Sohma; original concept by L-Kun.

Original certs were done by... I honestly can't remember whom. ^^;

Lineart was done by L-Kun; except for Sunil En-lil, whose naga templates were drawn and shaded by Andrani.

Coloring was done by various artists. Dooma colored Leith Tansik, colored and line-edited Delphinium. Andrani colored and line-edited Achos; also colored Sunil, Rune's latter stage, and Ravimira.

The characters of Delphinium and the SaL boys whom he is "related" to (Achos, Sunil, Leith, Rune, Ravimira) are all © to me.

Delphi's Diary

The following is an account of Delphinium's life according to himself. Some are archived roleplays as if he had been videotaped while they occurred. Others, will be actual journal entries written from his point of view - and expect many. This boy loves to talk. And doodle. And tape in keepsakes and all sorts of seemingly ridiculous things (but that any diary or journal writer know otherwise).
