Well, my sister finally managed to track down the one decent cosplay pic I had back when I was still living with them.
Look! -points to shirt and pants- They're almost like Kai's! blaugh But then... rofl I look like such an idiot! Just look at that grin! xd
There are reasons, though why I'm in that ridiculous pose and why, for heaven's sake, I'm laughing. Oh, and why it looks like the background doesn't quite go with the -ahem- subject...
1. I was still in the process of getting my hair up enough for me to gel it into some semblance of Kai's hairstyle, hence the position of my left hand.
2. I was fumbling around for the hair gel on this incredibly low table when I heard Rei counting down. I didn't even have time to shove it in my pocket!
3. I was smiling because when I looked up from my futile attempts to find the hairgel, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror (it was positioned behind Rei), and saw just how incredibly idiotic I looked. The smirk I was supposed to have? Out the window, just like that.
4. The shot was originally taken in my room, but it had the same lighting as a shot of me (doing another cosplay) on campus, so I 'moved' myself there. xd
I know, I don't have the face paint or the scarf on; that was supposed to come later after I'd gelled my hair up. It was kinda long and if I would get in the way of the face paint.
I don't wanna show the pics where I have the entire outfit on because:
1. I looked more goofy than cool...
2. The few decent shots - meaning I didn't look goofy or trying-hard-to-look-like-Kai - were taken at weird angles...
3. They were all taken in my messy room!
4. I practically ruined Kai's image what with my large-sized bod and...tracks of land, if you know what I mean...
Anyway, I chose this shot 'cause...well... it looked less goofy than the others ones and was at a decent angle. The only thing I don't like is that I forgot that I still had my glasses on...

I'm getting round to cosplaying...
I just need to make the actually clothes...
as so far i only have Kai Scarf >.>
And Rei's shoes sweatdrop
my friend said she'd help me make the rest though :3

-hugs- Yay! We both have Kai scarves! blaugh Rei's shoes... I'm still looking for a pair. I'm pretty picky about the material; for me it has to match what the character was wearing, or at least be pretty close.
I'm getting my sister to track down the pic I had taken when I wore the shirt I made based on Kai's V-force outfit...I have one of me in a mandarin collar top - like Rei's - only... it's pink. Okay, pale lavender, but its too close to pink for comfort.
Now I just need to grow my hair long enough so I can put it back in a holder or something... and cosplay Rei! xd He's the only one so far whose skin tone is similar to mine... I think.

well my Rei shoes were actually ballerina shoes with the tying bits took off and they look loads like em xD

My hair's quite long... not as long as Rei's though... that'd take forever O.o
isn't it like to his ankles?
mines like to the middle of my back >.> heh

I can almost cosplay as Mariah. Well actually its only get the hair, ribbon, and skin tone. Oh and those little lines on her face. Though I do have an outfit that she would probably were.

Lighty: Right now, my hair is... dangling just above my tailbone. xd I know, long, huh? But I've been growing it since August of last year; by November, it had grown to my waist, so Mom insisted I get a haircut - which I did. But then it started growing at an insane rate, and now... well... 3nodding So I'm nearly there, I think... xd
And dressing up as Kai is snazzy? But that outfit isn't even complete! =P Ah, well, if you say so...
Now where's the pic of my Kai V-force outfit?
GT: Cool! Mao's pretty cool in the manga - which is saying something considering how she's portrayed in the anime. I like her original outfit, though, the one with the leopard-print sash thing around her waist, the slim bangle, and the armlet/armband. Hurry up and cosplay her, so I'm not the only one with a goofy photo up! xd

eek Calm down, Lighty... sweatdrop I know, it's long, but I guess I just happened to inherited a gene that makes hair grow freakishly quick... stare Now I wonder who I have to blame for that... 'Cause none of my immediate relatives have had 'hair trouble' of this kind before...
Well, if you plan to buy volumes 3 and 4, Mariah makes her first appearance towards the end of volume 3, and you can see her more clearly in volume 4.
Oh, geez; now I have their appearances memorized... xd

But i'm upto date with Loveless & Fruits Basket now thank god xD
and i've now ordered the rest of Gravitation
so i don't know which manga to try and complete next...

Uh...Kei? You actually went and put up that pic of you in your [incomplete] cosplay outfit? Still feel weird about that 'Kei as Kai' thing, seeing as the second name is mine
And get a haircut, then, if your hair is that flippin' long. You don't want mom to freak when you come home again, do you?
FireTigerLightningPhoenix: That is a lot of manga. Kei and I have some (they're mostly hers, though), but none of them are complete. It doesn't matter, though; we have ideas on how most of them end...

Because the out fit I have right now is just a pink sleeveless top and a pair of white pants and shoes. I do also have a slim bangle, and I could just paint on the armlet/armband. Too bad it's going to be about two months before I can actually do it, though I could do it without the hair coloring so that I can wear it to school. xd

Wait, which outfit? The one she had on in her first appearance (vol. 3/1st season) or the one she wore later (the manga equivalent of G-Rev)?
Vol. 3 appearance: The shirt and pants were originally navy blue with pink trim; her shoes are all pink with white trim (as opposed to the white with pink trim in the anime); the armlet is on her upper left arm and is golden yellow while the bangle is a dark jade green in color on her right wrist. Oh, and the leopard-print sash thing is something of a dull yellow-orange.
No clue as to the color of her G-Rev outfit (the one in the manga), so I don't know if the one in the anime has had any color changes from the original.

I must say it is quite accurate. I've looked all over the place for clothing that looked like the beyblade characters clothing, but could never seem to find anything.
There was acctually one time that I accedently was dressed up that looked like Wesker from Resident evil, more so of how he looked like on RE 4, And it wasn't intentional at that, so accedental cosplay. ^_^
And Wesker is like the Coolist looking guy from Resident Evil. To me anyway lol.

Resident evil scared me... I only saw the part where a girl was in this tank then she suddenly woke up that made me jump and the part with lasers and they got sliced up the scared me sh**less xD
@Uchihara-Katoshi (can i call you Toshi? pleaseee it's cute and so much easier lol xD or i'm gona mix both parts of your Username and you'll end up like Harashi or maybe just chichi or summin sorry i'm gonna stop rambleing as i'm probably scaring you and i'm totally going off topid -deep breath-) Thanks xD I have this thing where I have to get the sets... i'm the same with DVDs if i have the first few i have to complete the series otherwise i'm like O__O WHAT HAPPENS -spazzs-
i've wrote all that and can't even remember what topic we're on... gah ummm i'm hoping it's the cosplay one as i'll seem silly if it's not now xD
I once tried cosplaying as a sailor scout from sailor moon when i was like 7 xD
oh and I didn't know that bout Mariah in the manga surprised

Siefren: Thanks. All I did was cut off the sleeves of my red-and-black shirt. It's just a shame that the cargoes I wore are now too short to actually be worn out of the house...
