The Letters of Sunil
Sunil was won in a mini-contest in the SaL shop, this year (2007). His name means literally, "very blue" "lord of the wind". He is a blue-phase tree snake, capable of gliding similarly to a flying squirrel. That makes him very flexible, and capable of literally flattening his body to help with surface area...he's also very light for his size. Like the wind.

Rules
Rules will be pretty generic for the most part, including Gaia, Shop, and Guild rules, plus any that the individual journals might require. If you want to RP with my boys, you'll adhere to these general rules.
* Follow the Gaia Terms of Service. They seem pretty straightforward to me... No spamming, No scamming (or ads of any kind O_o; ) in these threads. Material should be PG-13. No higher!
* Follow shop rules! Believe it or not, this shop was founded on this idea: Shounen-ai (literally cute/pretty boy love) is a cute interaction between boys. It is NOT Yaoi, it is NOT Hentai. Courtship is fine. Hot, steamy relationships are not. Lewdness and insinuation are also not. I have boys from other shops that geared for that mentality.
* No posting in these journals unless you are me. I will know you are not me, so don't try to pull a fast one. xD Shop owners also have this right to post, though if there is something here that you want me to take down, please just PM it to me. I'm flexible and approachable that way.

Updates
Updates for my boys will follow a pretty standard timeline-style updating system, starting from when I first received them. However in the cases with boys who arrived as adults, of course their timelines will predate that.
04 April 2007 Sunil is "born", or rather comes home with me, an energetic little wyrmy boy.
21 April 2007 Sunil grows up - speedy little bugger!
03 July 2007 Set up Sunil's Letters, one of several journals set up specifically for my SaL boys.

Relatives
Whom does this boy consider family? They may be related by blood, circumstance, or feelings of closeness - such as a boyfriend or mate, and children. This also includes the boys he has lived with, from this and any other shops.
 Achos is usually someone to watch out for and try to avoid. He rarely has anything nice to say in the naga's experience, though his insight on the cruelty of humanity has taught Sunil much. The naga has decided that he in turn needs to teach his elder bat a few things... such as that 'love' and 'kindness' do exist, and not just as a means to find an end.
 Delphinium has always been generous with Sunil, as he is with everyone else. He can be very wild and adventurous in ways alien to the naga, but he is also a lot of fun to be around. Sometimes he goes out with Delphi, Rune, and Ravi to see a change in pace. Or sometimes Delphi just drags him around to see what clothing one could possibly wrap around a naga...
 Leith Tansik is one of the people Sunil values most in his life. He has a wealth of knowledge outside of book learning as his teacher is Nature, something Sunil can really appreciate. The naga and horse have gone out-of-doors together on numerous occasions to see what new adventure they can find. And both have discovered new interests as a result (such as the hang gliding thing...).
 A bit intimidating is Ravimira Gorm to Sunil, though most would call that an understatement. He and the sea monster have had many a loud debate, though neither seems worse, or sour, afterward. They both understand the value of a good fight, as long as no one takes offense in the process. Like Delphi, he also likes a good time, though his idea of a good time might stray from what the naga is used to.
 Sunil adores Rune, who is probably the closest thing to a sibling he can remember ever having (snakes are rarely truly 'only children' after all). They like to spend the majority of their time together curled up with a book, though Sunil tends to take the "curling up" more literally than the other. Fireplaces are a plus.

Acquaintances
Whom has this boy met in the past? In some cases this may be non-shop related info too! Will include pictures if possible, information about the person and where they met, and what my boy thinks about them.
 Another naga (like Sunil!) whose name escapes me. His first encounter with someone outside the family was with this naga. He had little but negative things to say about those outside of their "kind." Sunil took it upon himself to one day meet him again and show him how wrong he was. (owned by ???)

Each boy's photo album will include stage photos (when it applies) as well as fanarts by myself and other owners. Each picture will have a brief caption beneath it.
Childhood
For Sunil, there never was a box handled by a deliveryman, or a bundle carried by a stork. At least, no one around here has seen that... Instead he was found as a tiny boy full of ideas and firm opinions. How can you say 'no' to that face?!

Adulthood
Adulthood reveals a more contemplative, creative way of going about life. He can -and does- lose his temper, and when he does, expect a colorful argument to follow. Blue is not always a calm, cool color!

Shounen-ai Love is currently owned by Andrani and Raving Sohma; original concept by L-Kun.
Original certs were done by... I honestly can't remember whom. ^^;
Lineart was done by L-Kun; except for Sunil En-lil, whose naga templates were drawn and shaded by Andrani.
Coloring was done by various artists. Dooma colored Leith Tansik, colored and line-edited Delphinium. Andrani colored and line-edited Achos; also colored Sunil, Ravimira, and Rune's last stage.
The characters of Sunil En-lil and the SaL boys whom he is "related" to (Achos, Rune, Leith, Delphinium, Ravimira) are all © to me.

Sunil's Letters
The following is an account of Sunil's life according to himself. Some are archived roleplays as if he had been videotaped while they occurred. Others, when possible, will be actual journal entries written from his point of view and other snippets (who doesn't doodle, tape keepsakes and other fun stuff with their diaries?).
