EDIT: Seems that the picture doesn't always show but an example can be found in the forums of facepunchstudios Check this out See whats going on in that screen shot? The "smart" number on the left, the red and underlined words in the post, the information box on the right that tells the person how much "smart" they have lost. Who thinks gaia should have something like this in some shape or form?

Hmm. I simply think it should be like GameFAQs forums. You start off only being able to make two topics a day and post 10 times. As you gain "karma" you gain the ability to make more posts and more topics until you are finally able to post as much as you like. Obviously, trolls and other stupid people are not going to get any karma, as the mods can take it away from them. That would solve all the bullshit infecting Gaia.

If the VGD right at this moment is any testament, the karma system would be most welcome. Gaia needs to do something about this crap. I can't even honestly say that people are just spamming. I think that they are honestly stupid enough to create threads like "games".

I think topics that are TOO general should be illegal.

I swear, its like people are not even trying to maintain some kind of level of intellect on Gaia. I was just in one of the twelve thousand "Official" Pokemon threads, and I said that I was planning on getting a new DS on Friday because mine broke 2 months ago, and I was getting either Diamond or Pearl. My question was "Which version, if either of them, has Vulpix?". Nobody bothered to anser my question. Instead, I got a PM the sender so graciously dubbed "pkomon battle me now?????" as the subject. I told him that I did not have Diamond or Pearl until Friday, and even then, I had no access to WiFi. He responds "um do u want battle or not??? lol ".
Gaia makes me feel very, very smart stare

I'm loving this idea, except it needs some tweaking first. No topics to begin with, except for in the chatterbox where karma doesn't rise. The posting thing should make sure your post contains a minimum of say about 10 characters and if your post contains 1/3 spelling mistakes you can't make it

Gaia would make Sarah's little brother feel smart. And he has Dyslexia...But he's actually overcoming the boundaries posed by the symptoms...I'm impressed by his determination to say the least... Anyway, I'll find the answer to your question. Here's the link to Serebii on D&P exclusives, and it looks like Growlithe and Vulpix aren't exclusive to either version...The site's kinda on the slow side, but it's got all the info anybody needs in Pokemon. To get Vulpix, you've got to have Leaf Green inserted into your GBA slot in the DS in a certain area to make it even appear...but don't worry. Once Boss gets whichever one he wants, I'll be happy to get him a Vulpix with an attached Fire Stone for later use.

It would work so well if Gaia would implement something like this rather than giving us exciting Nancy Drew mysteries to solve like "Refresh until the thingy She wants appears".

It was a problem for me, 'cause I tended to sell my Pokemon games for reasons I can't remember now...>.< There's now a grand total of 483 Pokemons, and I've got 333 of them. 3nodding I've got quite the collection going on...most of it's for bragging rights though. Just remember who to go to for all your Pokemon needs, Boss. ^.^

@Rayne: Well I'll definitely go to you before I go to the average Pokemon fan sweatdrop
@Aleitheo: We've gone this long without it because as much as we b***h about the poor state that Gaia is in, we continue to log in day after day and donating to a site that is so terribly flawed, redemption could only be achieved through a mass ban.
