Tunoc Suburbs
Not everyone can afford the fancy housing of the big cities. That’s why the suburbs are filled with the medium to lower class citizens of Agartha. It is here that the majority of inhabitants will find themselves applying for housing. The houses are all identical in their outward appearance and inward layout. The personal touches are left in the hands of the interior decorator. Each home is on a lot that is exactly one acre large. White picket fences serve to maintain the illusion of privacy. Each home has five bedrooms, a living room, three and a half baths, a generous kitchen, and a small laundry room. In the suburbs, there are strict codes as to the outward appearance. The fences must be kept whitewashed. The house must be painted royal blue, white, light blue, dark red, or yellow in color. The shutters are to be white or black. Everything is to be kept freshly painted at all times. Yards are to be kept trimmed neatly and free of clutter. Beyond these simple – and very strict – rules, homeowners can feel free to indulge in the little creativity that is left to them.
