So I definitely went to borders today and bought 7 books... but i'm almost completely done with one of them (oops).
Heres what I got:
A streetcar named Desire - Tennessee Williams Emma - Jane Austen Tess of the d'Urbervilles - Thomas Hardy Secrets of Mental Math - Arthur Benjamin & Michael Shermer (I'm such a nerd xd ) The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho Salem's Lot - Stephen King 1984 - George Orwell
I heart books...haha
I'm probably going to go again before I leave. Any reccomendations?

I love Border's. I could spend days there if they let me. The one near my house really rocks, because it's big and cozy, and has a large cafe', a huge music section, and lots and lots of comfy chairs. I also like how it features different and new artist's prints on the walls of it's cafe'.

I haven't tried the cafe yet; I can't stand coffee but it looks like they have tea & hot chocolate and stuff too. I could live in borders. They only built the one by my house this past school year & I'm in there almost every week now.

I've read all of those, which isn't shocking. Except the Alchemist. I really ought to stop by Barnes and Noble (or Borders I s'pose, though I don't like their selection).
Erm. I started the Dark Tower series. They're Stephen King Books. So naturally they're good. And I got the short stories book with 1408. I have a whole list of stuff you should read. xd

The closest proper book store is Barnes&Noble. Me and mom could spend about $100 each on books. Most of my books would be manga though and most of my mom's books would be about vampires.
Also, my mom has the 7th Harry Potter book preorder for me through Amazon.com and I can't wait for the end of July.

My favorite mangas are Death Note, Furuba, and Alice 19th.
On a side note, I finished a couple of the books while in orange juice land (yummm....). Streetcar was okay. It wasn't bad but that was mostly because it wasn't long. I've been reading the Mediator series as well, they're really entertaining - but they are trash books, but not the bad kind of trash book. I read the last one and I loved it. I also finished Emma by Jane Austen, it starts out slow but it gets really good and the main character (emma) really grows on you. It's not really a guy book though. ^____^
Have you guys read anything good lately?
Right now I'm reading 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King which is supposed to be the scariest vampire book ever written; it's pretty good so far.

I love the book Currahee! It's an autobiography about world war II by a paratrooper. (AUTObiography)
I also luv Margret Peterson Haddix and her Shadow Children series
I'm planning on buying Children Of Hurin by Tolkien himself
The Martian Chronicles is good, also.

'I leaned up against a tree and lit up a cigarette. A bullet hit the tree right by my head. I thought it was a stray, so I shrugged and went on enjoying the cigarette. Another slapped the tree, a little closer this time. A man called from a ditch. "Get down!" he said. I dived in with him. "A German sniper has been running around. I've been trying to get him all day." "Why the hell didn't you tell me!?" I yelled. "I didn't know if he was still there. I had to let him shoot at you." He began laughing.' - Currahee! by Donald R. Burgett
