I was talking to this guy who was a member of the marines or navy, i cant remember what it was but he had just gotten back from the persian gulf and what he had to say was funny as hell! He had an SCA group that would fight on top of one of the aircraft carriers once a week and all the members usually dressed as templar. Well, the inhabitants of a town that theire carrier was anchord off of saw them fighting everytime they did this and they became so afraid that the templar were returning that they did everything they were told and were afraid to be out of the streets even when they needed to. The group was order to fight in plain view and in garb every day
