Okay...I haven't bought manga in so long that I can't even remember when it was. I just remember that I bought Black Cat vol. 8 last, and only remember thanks to my thread. I haven't read manga in ages either. Nothing can hold my interest.
What's the problem? A lovely little anime by the name of Kyo Kara Maoh. It's sucked my brain out and made it so that it dominates my thoughts. I tried to pick up vol. 4 of Godchild a while ago, but I could not concentrate on it. I'm going to attempt vol. 7 of Host Club soon...
Anyone else ever have a problem like this?

But yeah, it has happened to me before, where I don't buy manga for a while, and then I have trouble reading what I do have. Usually it happens when I'm at school--I get so busy with work, and have hundreds of pages of reading to do with that, that on my time off I don't feel like reading.
Right now, I have Tsubasa 12 sitting on my shelf. It's been there for two weeks, and I haven't touched it yet. Partly because I'm kind of busy, partly because I'm a little bored with the series now... and partly because I'm now obsessed with George R.R. Martin books ^^;
But you have to read Host Club. I mean, it's Host Club.

It will get better... it ALWAYS gets better.. and exactly.. you have host club the series is awesome (not that i have read it since i have no money >.<) but yeah it gets better.... at least it does with me =D

I know it'll get better, since it's happeed before. Typically around theatre productions. My brain will come back, but right now KKM is behaving like a really bad drug.

Plenty. That's why I have so many volume 1's. sweatdrop
EDIT: I lose intrest in a lot of the stuff I buy. Especially to shounen, and older manga series.

This happens to Ming lots when she's trying to read manga late at night in bed. If I'm already kinda tired... I end up re-reading pages a lot and then just give up and put it down. I took me a couple tries to get through the first chapter of Air Gear (which I actually enjoyed lots). Same with Coyote Ragtime Show. 3nodding
You just have to give it time. Eventually you'll want to read manga again.

I get that, but not for the same reason as you, Ohkeh.
My obssesion kind of goes on and off.
Like for a month I'll be, "Yeah, I love manga/ anime, but..yeah.."
And next month it'll be, "ZOMG. MANGAHS."
