I always make fun of my sister for her 'silly dog game' on her DS. But I played it the other day, and I'm hooked. The dogs are so cute, and it's fun to train them.
It's really cool. Like you say things and they hear you. Like you say "Sit" and the dog will sit. Etc.
So anyways.
Video games you thought were dumb until you played them and found out that they were really addicting?

I thought Animal Crossing was really dumb... then I played it and I made sure to collect every. single. thing. xd
I can't say I have a single favorite video games, but my most favorite series include Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda and, yes, Pokemon.

I love Nintendogs but my real dog got jealous of me talking to my DS so I had to cut down. xd I haven't played it in a long time.
The kids at the school I work at love Nintendogs though, they are always telling me about their dogs. They still can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact I play games though.
There aren't many games I thought were dumb though, a lot of my friends think Chibi Robo is pointless but I managed to get my Mum addicted to it. whee

I had Nintendogs but I lost it. My favorite game series are Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon.

I used to think RPG's were the dumbest. It's like, "well what about the real world?" XD Holy vrap, I play like, 5 rpg's. They're really fun.
And addictive.

Haha even the most silliest of games can be addicting. Take animal crossing for example, if you have someone explain it to you, it sounds very stupid. After all, all you're doing is doing errands so you can get furniture to dress up your house. Yet it is very addicting because of the fact that you can design your house the way you want it to.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but Gaia. My mom and sister were on it constantly, and kept bugging me to try, but I didn't want to because I saw them everyday in real life, I didn't want to have to deal with them online too. Eventually I opened an account from shear curiosity, and promptly got addicted. The same thing is happening with sudoku at the moment.

Harvest Moon; I thought it was the most retarded game in the world. I'm hooked now.
I have all the games except for the Nintendo 64 one.
