Mine was spent pigging out over a table breaking under the ridiculous weight of the meat on top of it, and then watching fat white Americans freaking out over explosives whee

- Do you celebrate 4th of July?
- Do holidays affect the time you spend on Gaia?

I DO celebrate fourth of July, but I probably got in the same amount of Gaia-time as usually.
My family and I grilled hamburgers and what not (my cousins came over).
Then we went out to the guys house and shot off our fireworks.
It was great fun.

I spent almost the whole day on Gaia (maybe more than usual?) and then went to see fireworks.
They were big and pretty and made me happy.
I like sparkly things. whee

But then I made the mistake of trying to sleep tonight. I can't...the amount of fireworks being shot off here is insane. ><

Well, first I spent my day complaining that my super lame family had no plans. Then I got a call from my friend and went to his house, his street was having a fun block party. And from there we went to my friend Sarah's house to watch some fireworks - the fun illegal kind.

We had a lot of firework being shot off round here as well.
This is the first year we haven't been under fire-ban in like forever, so people went a little crazy.

Since my family has "connections"
we were able to get fireworks at a MAJOR discount, including
tons of huge fireworks along with at least a thousand or more
little things to blow up while we waited for sun down.
The entire family on my dad's side was there including my young
uncles who we rarely see and we just had ourselves a good ol' time
just lighting things on fire and of course eatting all kinds of good food. whee
|
