And how long for each? For me:

9 years of drums.
4 years of guitar.
3 years of trained singing.

Percussion:6 years
Drum Set:5 years
Piano:Less than half a year (I'm self taught)
Bass: About a year (Again, self taught)
Guitar:Too sparatic to account for (Self taught/friends teach me)
Anything else: Just put it in my hands and chances are I'll know how to play within a few days. If even that long.

Piano: Had lessons for 4 1/2 years... been playing for 7... And I'm still no good. stare

Drums: I've been teaching myself for 3 months

Bass: Been teaching myself for 2 days xp

4 years of basic percussion. 2 years of drumset (last two years of basic percussion). plan to learn for at least 4 more years. probably 8. (drumset through all of those)

Naruto is almost as awesome as Drums!

any percussion that i play in school band: 3 years (taught in band)
Drum set: 1 year ( sweatdrop everyone's gotta start somewhere, also this is self taught)
Piano: 2 years (lessons)
