Cherise looked to her left. Dark streets seemed to be completely empty. Not a soul in sight. What could have happened she thought to herself. As she meandered down the deserted cobble stone street a she heard an ambient voice come from the alley way to the right of her. She turned and slowly advanced towards the noise. Her eyes noticed the different shapes in the alley way. There was a figure shrouded in darkness, he turned to her and his eyes seemed to pierce through her to her very core. Cherise took a step back and put her hand to her sword.
