Hmm...I'm actually surprised that none of us have talk about this subject that much before.
At least not that I can remember....
Anyways, my question is this: What are the qualities that you would want in your perfect mate and why?
I'd like to see how everyone's tastes differ from each other. ^^

For now I'm not really interested.
Only for my stories and poetry.
But if I had to say,
someone sweet and overprotective
whos not afraid to tell me "I love you"

Hm... I don't know. We're talking about real guys now so... hm... intellegent, like you said L-u; able to hold a conversation. He's gotta be a sweet guy who likes the night sky, and able to say that he loves me in a not so sappy way. lol i don't know... I think that i'm just someone who wouldn't wanna all lovey dovey publicly so he has to willing to cut back on kissy kissy lol. Oh and he's gotta be able to endure my abusive to boys nature. um... controlling but not too controlling and doesn't get jealous easily. oh and he's gotta be funny. there's more but i'm gonna leave those open for change cuz to be truthful, i'm not really sure what I want... except the fact that I know I don't want anyone who's extra ghetto... lol

T____T Tell me about it. my list still goes on and on. I'm just too hard on guys. I'm very affectionate as most of you know, but that's just with friends. Talking about guys we like man, all the things that i've seen with the couples around me made me realize somethings that don't want and what I think I want. It's very hard to actually describe what I want. lol I think i may have to lower my standards a wee bit though if I wanna have any chance at real love at all. haha!

Yeah....yeah....I have way too many standards for my own good. Though sometimes I think that those aren't even what I really want. D: Really confusing. That's why I'm asking people. XD I want to see if anyone really has a clear idea on what they want.

Open about their feelings (I don't need them hiding things from me)
Have things in common
Charismatic
Intelligent
Protective (Fer Realz, I need someone who can look out for me)
Caring
Loving
<3
Oh, and MUST like cats...
...And computers
...Or at least put up with them
...Both of them

This sounds weird coming from me, but yeah it is hard finding the "perfect" mate. There's no such thing but some things that I look for are:
*Protective - but not too protective, I can take care of myself
*Honest - he has to be able to tell me anything
*Blunt - just like me, I need someone who can say what it is whenever, no beating around the bush
*Doesn't get jealous easily - I HATE when someone gets jealous just because I'm talkin to another guy. My BF isn't the only guy I'll talk to, get over it and learn that its not all just about you.
*Intelligent - I don't need a super smart Einstein, I wanna talk about things and have an actual conversation, like it or not its not all about looks.
*Able to hold a Convo - I think thats self explanitory, I don't want to be silent half the damn time, let me have fun and explore.
*Loving - I want to be pampered from time to time, get cute little things, know that I'm loved without going over board. You guys may not know, or even care or trust me about this one, but I do hate it when Robert gets all lovey in public. When we're at the mall or movies and he wants to kiss I push away and then he gets all blah about it, so half the time I kiss em so he doesn't bug me. Wrong I know, but thats how it is, I hate getting annoyed.
Other than that he has to be able to:
- Deal with me and my game time! I get snappy when on games! If he likes games good! He should know how it is then!
- Likes to just sit around and have fun without having to get out of the house. I don't like going outside, period. Cons are great, friends are too but anything else and I don't care for it too much.
- Pets, I lurve cats and dogs.
- My ways. I, WILL, NOT, CHANGE, FOR, ANYONE. DONE! Thats how it is, if you want a barbie, go to WalMart and buy one, not me sorry I don't work that way. Jokingly, I will still look at guys. I shouldn't but I do anyway, half the time they're just good cosplayers (Ex: Aaron and Masa), VAs/Actors (Vic, Crispin, Johnny Depp, Orlando) or characters from games and anime (Cloud) anyway. I don't go from guy to guy like other chicks do, I leave that for my anime self not for reals, its all jokes.
- My friends/family. If he doesn't like who I hang out with or attempt to get along, its over.
- And above all -- WILL NOT ANNOY ME! Ugh I HATE getting annoyed! I get annoyed very easily with certain things. If I say once please stop, and they do it again and pisses me off, I will go off.
Wow, who knew I had all this o_O I am picky but thats how it is, like it or not. Guess with experience, comes what you really want.
