Welcome to the Sweet Dreams Cafe! Creatures and humans of all sorts hang out here and some live in the hotel rooms. The dreamy feeling and music of the cafe just makes you want to take a nap or relax. Here, we serve sweets, beverages, and some meals. Here is a picture of the cafe layout:

Namine
5. Biography: Namine was born as a half-elf, her mother an elf, her father a human. Although it was forbidden, they fell in love with each other, and her mother successfully escaped the immortal kingdom. However, an agent of the King tagged along with the two lovers and kept an eye on them for a long time. The two had a baby girl (Namine) and lived happily with her for fourteen years. Unfortunately, the agent was fed up with their "foolish mortal love" and told the King. The Royal Family of the immortal kingdom ordered Namine's loving parents to be killed. Namine escaped, on her mother's orders to "live a full life" and enjoy it. Tears streaming through her eyes, she ran and ran. Namine was mostly elf, so she did not age after the age of fourteen. She was immortal, so she could not stay in one place for too long, or else she could be accused as a witch, or a bad omen. Eventually, she found a ruined chateau next to the ocean. Namine fixed it with her magic and turned it into a cafe. And for the next fourteen years and on, she lived in this cafe and took care of herself.

5. Biography: Kana never really knew her family. They obviously didn't want her, however, because she was left on the steps of a fire station when she was just a baby. She doesn't know a thing about herself except her name, but she never let that stop her from becoming a beautiful, cheerful person. She has had a few waitressing jobs that didn't pan out so well, but she hopes that this one will last for a while.
6. Personality: Shy unless she's working. Then she's friendly. But she is always the cheerful optimist.

Namine woke up and looked at herself in the mirror. She had still not aged yet. Of course, she thought, I am...immortal. She got up from bed, folded the sheets, washed up, and headed upstairs to the main floor.

Kana approached the door of the building shyly. She took a deep breath and opened it. After poking her head inside, she entered the building and closed the door. Standing there for a few minutes, she adjusted her eyes to the dimmer lighting of the inside before proceeding. She approached a desk with a bell. After staring at the bell for about five minutes, she rang it. But as soon as she did, she wished she hadn't. But there was no choice now. She stood there like a soldier on parade, despite her ragged hoodie sweatshirt and hole-in-the-knee jeans, with a backpack containing everything she owned on her back.

Namine glanced around at the sound of the bell. She then realized that it was coming from the front counter (the door to the basement was located in its own private room, diagonal from the room with the counter). She quickly casted a spell to make herself look presentable and approached the counter shyly. "Oh, um, hello," Namine said quietly, but with a warm, friendly tone in her voice.

Kana didn't move for a moment, except to blink her eyes. The girl in front of her couldn't possibly be any older than she was. After standing ther in an awkward silence for a bit longer, Kana finally got her mouth to work again. "Hello. May I please speak with the manager?" she sqeaked out. Immediately, her gaze fell on the floor again, her long brown hair falling around her face like a curtain.

Namine couged. "Uhm, I kinda, ...am the manager," she said quietly. Of course, she thought, I don't look like a manager, do I? I should've been more prepared for this. I should casted some spell on me to make me look like my real age. Oh, shoot, I think I forgot to hide my pointy, elven ears. What to do?! However, on the outside, she didn't look like she was completely absorbed in her worrisome thoughts.

Kana blushed and kept her head down. "I-I'm sorry. I should have known. It's just that I didn't see a nametag or anything and...I'll try to do better I promise. But if you don't except me, I guess it's not a big deal, but I wouldn't want to not be accepted because I flubbed before I even got an interview and..." she rambled nervously. "Then she pulled a folded and beaten, handwritten resume out of her jeans pocket. "H-Here. Please read it. I know it's not exactly the most beautiful thing in the world, but it's the best I could do." she said quietly as she held out the paper in a shaking hand to the girl.
