do you use the video feature all that much? i did at first, but then i realized how dull all my videos were. i deleted most of them... because i thought the feature was so cool i'd take videos of every little thing. i already take pictures of every little thing, it's bad enough i was doing it with videos. do i really need a video of people reading newspapers on the can? not really.

i'm actually trying to make a video right now. a music video, in fact. i created a special house and a special family just for it. it's dedicated to all mah friends. whee soooo... it's a pretty big family. here's the family picture: click. i just noticed that all the crew members of this guild will be in it. 3nodding this is for their reference so they know who's in the video...

front: dg, and uhhhh... betcha you can guess who. (someone they're going to torture in the video. twisted )

so yeah... i'm really tempted to try and make a video with an actual STORY... but sometimes sims are just so unpredictable. of course free will has to be off or else people would be walking in the middle of shots and stuff, but when their needs aren't being met they won't do what you tell them to!! gonk i think i solved that problem by quitting without saving every time. that way when i go back to shoot more footage, all their meters are back up. blaugh but it still gets kind of annoying.

i told myself i'd buy more RAM for my computer before i tried making videos like this, but i can't wait. whee even though the game can be jumpy sometimes for me... and it takes forever to load up... the video quality actually turns out better than i thought (i just put all the settings to the highest quality... so the game captures the frames extra slow... for a better frame rate, i guess? i'm not totally sure... and i'm supposed to be the one who took video editing in university gonk ).

actaully I have made a couple of sim music videos. I only have one on my simpage right now cause they are both "the big size". The one that's up there is pretty short and funny. It's called the Drinking Song. I hope someday I might make a video with voice overs... but i gotta come up with a story for that.

ya know, i think i wanna make a new video... but i will probably wait until NL comes out so i can take advantage of all the new interactions. xd

My friend showed me a music video to some techno song with World of Warcraft footage (with a nude patch installed .. fun times). And I was thinking .. it would be so cool to take footage from several different games .. like that, or EQ, and the Sims, etc .. with similar looking characters. So one can burn food and the other can pull out an axe and chop 'em up for it.

i have to get inspired to make a movie... it's a LOT of work. But they come out pretty cool in the end. I've never done one leaving the simlish voices in it... they're just always music videos it seems. I think it would be a neat challenge sometime, but not one I'm up to just yet!
