Edmond x Mercédès (The Count of Monte Cristo)  ....um. Probably mostly from the movie, since they sort of get back together in the end, as opposed to the book (and anime) where it's more of 'okay Mercédès, we had some good times, so I'm not going to kill you or your son, I'll just utterly ruin your husband and family name and leave you alone after that, sound fair?' ...or something vaguely like that. I mean, I like Haydee (Edmond gets with her in the book) and I love all the gayness with Albert in the anime (what a guy, flirting with the mother and her son....craziness. I do prefer Count/Albert in the anime, just with how complex and interesting and powerful their relationship is, but that's another story.) but there's something I really like about Edmond being with Mercédès. Probably just that they really, truely loved each other, and while Edmond had tried to get over all that to move on with his plans, he still cared for her, and she couldn't forget him even after she heard he was dead. And they had lovely moments together in the movie. I love that scene in the picture (Albert brings home suspicious and handsome Count who mom is drawn to and dad is disturbed by. Then mom recognizes suspicious and handsome Count as presumed dead ex-fiancé and there is much drama.)

Howl x Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle)
While the movie was disappointing to me, the book is fantastic and Howl and Sophie are an awesome and hilarious pair in it. Howl's such a hopeless drama queen and Sophie is so strong willed and just doesn't take any crap from him but still cares for him, even when he's driving her insane. And he cares about her too, even when she's trying to kill the spiders in his room, or messes with his hair potions. They're just so fiesty and fun together. Much love for them. (Main reason I didn't really like it in the movie was that Sophie was so....weak and pathetic. Half the time she was all gloomy because she wasn't pretty, oh no, and the other half she was acting like a silly love struck girl. ...that's not the Sophie I loved from the book. Disappointing.)

Erik x Christine (Phantom of the Opera)  I have no idea why dangerous and obsessive love is so interesting...it just is. I keep getting the feeling that I should be creeped out by a deformed hermit stalking a girl young enough to be his daughter, but then they sing a duet together and my brain turns to mush. He just.....loves her so much and needs her but he is so very lacking in social skills...and, y'know...he kills people and stuff. And he's seriously unbalanced. So it's not like it's hard to understand why Christine would end up with someone stable....and sane, like Raoul. But I want Erik to be happy! He's so lonely and Christine does love him and admire him and everything....oh tragic love, why do you suck me in...

I have two~ Both from Gilmore Girls, so I'll put them on the same post.

Luke and Lorelai! I love this couple for three reasons:
1. It's the only genuine relationship Lorelai has really had
2. They're really funny together
3. It's canon! ^-^
Throughout the entire series, Lorelai has always forced herself to get along with her soon-to-be boyfriends. But when ever there's trouble, she always calls Luke. And she proposed. That means that she likes him. Before, all the others proposed, and she just went along with it because she couldn't say 'no', I think... And because she figured she'd grow to love them over time.

I'm not sure why I like these two. I just do. Logan has the best friends ever. Maybe that's why I like them. Because I can see more Colin and Finn! xD

Rory just wasn't ready for marriage. She still had a lot she wanted to do. And Logan couldn't continue dating her. It was all or nothing.
Is it me, or did it become awfully soap opera-ish towards the end?

While I really just want Jin-heon for myself (tee hee) I love this couple. Sam-soon has led such a sad life, she deserves some good-looking, rich guy! And these two are hilarious~

I've loved these two ever since I started watching the series (which was around episode 5 or 6....Whichever one had Henry in it for the first time). Henry is such a sweet guy (I'm a Daniel Henney fan, so it might explain why I love him so much). For a while there I didn't feel like Hee-jin deserved someone like him, but I finally felt 100% okay with her selfishness during the last episode, when she wanted to go to Africa with him (and she had previously ditched him to go to Korea). Just imagine! Tiny little Daniel Henneys and whichever-actress-plays-Hee-jins running all over the place! Aw~ *dies*
