So I don't only watch great anime, sometimes I watch alright or downright bad anime. This anime fits in the "what the ******** just happened" catagory.
It is the story of a semi-post apocalyptic world where the polar ice caps have mostly melted, leading to the world being covered mostly by water. The human race survives in the remaining chunks of city, and in underwater bases, and wages war on the mutants who destroyed civilization via submarines.
Now, this anime does start out with incredible promise. The first couple episodes had me glued to my chair hoping this would be a wonderful epic anime....then the problems started. They rely heavily on random noises and 'looks' to transmit feelings, ideas etc. and they fail heavily. In fact by the end of the anime it was apparent that while the graphics and art was wonderful, the plot dropped off quickly and the dialogue was written by a half starved monkey on acid.
I give this anime a 2/5 for it's amazing visuals...and nothing else.

Never Seen It. I Hate That When You Have Some Nice Graphics Going On, A Good Storyline, Then Bam- It Just Goes Downhill From There. Happens A Lot. And The Only Show I Can Stand With No Voices Is Happy Tree Friends.
