Wandering amongst the crowded streets both Lyonell and common xanolonian were content in the company of one another. The woman remained silent as she listened to the tales spun by her companion and guide, smiling every so often at the more amusing parts of his tales while gasping at those in which she considered inappropriate or horrific.
It seemed that despite the death of the King life continued within the Trade Districts as the kingdom sought to make sure that it thrived still for the new monarch. It was therefore no surprise that it was such a comfortable atmosphere despite the hustle and bustle and on many occasions the laughter of those around the district itself.
"...And then while I was writing my memoirs I was subject to this onslaught of lights, it was the most beautiful thing I had seen for quite some time and it ordered me to return to the city to be the voice's eyes." The Lyonell mused as he glanced around the bustling district, taking a deep breath and smiling as the memories flooded back to him.
"So that's how you returned." She stated, mentally thanking whoever may have owned the voice for the opportunity to see her guide again, still as they continued to walk she couldn't help but notice the slower than usual pace, "Are you hurt...?"
"Ah -" The lyonell paused briefly in his strides and then lifted a hand to place it against hers (which remained curled around hi right upper arm for support). "Well you see on my way back here they had something called A vixie hunt..." He began, telling yet another tale from his travels...

[Eriond]
A small puffing breathing came from between bodies as a little Avariel pushed his way through the hulking mass of bodies in the Trade District. He had been sent from the church to retrieve more soap bars and other so called nessicities here in the trade center with three gold coins he held firmly in his little hands. Wincing a bit as someone moved past him and took his little wing with them, Eriond quickly darted out of the way, saving his wing and squeezing himself through the hay smelling bodies of the commoners. One man, seeming to either be in a hurry or just rude, grasped Eriond's head and pushed him violently to one side as if he were a pole or something with which to push his way past the crowd. The Avariel caught his balance succesfully and breathed out a sigh of relief, happy about his success from not running into anyone or dropping his gold. Tearing his gaze from the mash of people, the Avariel turned around and ran right into a Lyonel and a girl. In surprise, he began stumbling backwards and finally let gravity take it's coarse. THUMP. And he was on the ground. Eriond began to hastilly splutter out apologies, accidently letting the words trip over one another or get clogged in his throat as he looked up balefully at the Lyonel and the girl. ((Sry, Epine, I'm at a Hotel right now, typing this. ^^ I'm at a friend's three day B-Day party. XD At least they have computers here!))

//S'ok, I'm being tortured by "Bad Request" pages and find it impossible to post.
"What was that?" Rosa enquired, clasping her hands tighter around her guides arm to ensure her balance as she glanced downwards towards the sound. Unfortunately, her azure blue eyes were incapable of focussing on the Avarian for she couldn't see him but due to his sudden removal from her person she could only decipher that it was a humanoid and somebody younger than her.
"An Avarian." Symph replied automatically as he glanced down and arched a brow towards the boy in front of him, he looked much younger than Symph but he seemed oddly familiar...almost as though his clothes looked as if they had been provided by the church saemstress.
"A what?" Rosa continued in a persistant manner, her tone curious as though she had never ever met one before.
"Um, they look like you but have wings on their backs like birds." He explained and then gave a wry smile towards the avarian, "And who might you be?"

The Avariel continued to spit out apologies until the Lyonel spoke up and asked him his name. He winced and said softly, looking up at the Lyonel which wide eyes, "I...I am Eriond. I'm terribly sorry about running into you. Really I am, I hadn't seen you. I-"
Eriond felt a cold chill run down his spine when he heard Don's voice run through his head, Don't get yourself in trouble. He winced. What would Donathan do when he found out he ran into a local? What was he going to do? Oh well...Eriond would find out when he got back to the church. However, when the Avariel looked into the Lyonel's green eyes something struck him as familiar.
Eriond furrowed a brow and looked at him and his girl, a look of confusion in his eyes as he tried to match faces with memories.

The lyonell appeared bemused by the young Avarians stuttering and simply shook his head, it was rather amusing to see people flounder around him but it grew tiresome and somewhat painful to watch after a while...especially when what had occured had been a simple and very harmless accident.
"I am Symph, alocyte of the Church and this is my companion, Rosa." He introduced helpfully as Rosa offered a slight smile (yet it was directed at no one in particular). He couldn't help but wonder, perhaps if he reminded the young one of where he came from then the Avarian might be able to confirm whether or not he was actually part of the church or raised by the church without Symph asking at all.
"And as for bumping into us, accidents happen, especially in the city streets." He added, flashing a wry grin as he maintained his gaze upon the younger being before him, the only avarian he was used to was the Head of the Church and even then he hadn't actually seen her.
"Are you lost?"

The little avariel stopped stuttering after a while and listened carefully to what Symph was saying. When he mentioned, 'church', Eriond blinked and a million questions poured into his mind but only so few came from his mouth. After Symph had done speaking, Eriond gulped and carefully placed his words into a sentence.
"It's nice to meet you, Symph, Rosa. I'm from the church and I'm on an errand." Eriond said softly, holding the coins tightly in his little hands. Eriond didn't think he ever had seen Symph and his companion at church and yet again, they looked familiar. As if he had seen them a long time ago...When he first was introduced to the church...Eriond lost those thoughts and he said, looking around from side to side in worry, "I don't think I'm lost..."

"Are you certain?" Rosa enquired, taking note of the change in the tone of his voice. Granted she couldn't see the way in which he was acting but her ears were rather more sensitive and thus she could detect such things with more suitable ease than any normal commoner.
In order to comfort him however, she gave a small smile to him and shook her head, she would rather not persist in the matter when it could be easily solved anotherway and it would also mean she could continue with her walk, "What is it you're after?" She enquired at last and gave a soft giggle, "Perhaps Symph can lead you to it as opposed to you wandering around the Trade District for hours?"

Eriond nodded hopefully, even though at the same time his eyes were looking up at them balefully, "I would like that a lot, it''s hard to see where you''re going when you''re as small as me. I''m trying to find cleaning supplies, like soap and towels. But...Where were you going? Are you sure it isn''t out of your way? Were you heading ho-...to the church?" He corrected quickly, smiling in embarrasment.

"Oh, well then you are in the right place!" Rosa announced delicately, offering one of her hands for the small Avarian to take regardless of whether or not she could see exactly where he was, "The trade district has everything you could possibly want within it!" She added, her smile brightening as she spoke of her home with such fondness.
"In regards to your question, nay, I was simply taking a walk with my friend." Symph offered up the explanation due to the fact that Rosa had otherwise not done so when she had offered his help to the child...but then again, he would help anyone that might request it of him.
"Luckily we are heading in the right direction that you need to go so no doubt you can accompany us."

Eriond broke out into a smile, moving his three gold pieces to one hand and taking Rosa's hand in the other. His hand, being small clasped into hers and he revelled for a moment in how soft and how warm her hand was. He blushed for a moment and he squeezed his hand in hers in a nervousness, "Thank you, I can't wait."
Then, upon hearing Symph's reply to his other unanswered question, the avarien child turned his head happily to the lyonel and smiled shyly, "Oh, alright."

Rosa's smile increased as he took her hand and ensuring that she was firmly grasped by Symph (so that she wouldn't trip) she began to walk once more down the streets of the trade district, her blind gaze trained ahead of her as she caught the reminents of very faint shadowed figures within them - well, she was well aware when light and dark were so seeing people in the form of very faint shadows was of no problem to her...
"I'm surprised they sent you out on your own during the rush." Symph observed, glancing disdainfully at a merchant cart that was tearing down the street at an uncanny rate towards the gate, "But then again, the Church do much that confuses me, all for our own good though -" He mused again, glancing briefly towards Rosa before motioning towards the stand a short distance away.
"Your towels, soaps and the like are on that stand from what I can see." He offered, flashing a slight smile as he continued towards the stand itself...

"It was Don who sent me." Eriond piped up happily as he bounced a bit on his heels to see the stand that Symph was talking about, "I don't think he thought about the rush or other things. He just wanted to get me out before I caused any more trouble with my cleaning."
When they appraoched the stand, Eriond tightly grasped the gold coins in his free hand and slightly gulped in nervousness again. He was never really good with talking to the people behind the stands, he always managed to choke on his words and make a fool out of himself. There was one time when he came down with Don and they just happened to be talking to a grumpy stand owner when Eriond stumbled on his words and said something other than what he was meaning to, resulting in a fast run back towards the church from an angry stand owner.

"I'm unaware of this 'Don' but evidently he is a fool if he sends you out into a throng such as this." Symph pointed out, narrowing his eyes in disdain as he observed the Avarian. He grimaced however and after a few moments motioned towards the stand that the small being was seeking, he had guided him and that was all that was required of him as far as he was aware.
"You can attain the items you require there." He explained in a more casual and warm tone to avoid another expression of annoyance from his companion (that and she was squeezing his arm rather painfully each time he was rude), "When you have received them then I suppose I will guide you back to the church and you can show this apparent 'Don' that you have been successful."

"I don't think he's such a fool as you think," Eriond said in quick defense of his friend, "He worries about me a lot, ever since I was brought into the church. He was the one who found me in...Oh, excuse me, I'll go buy the things and be right back." Eriond took a deep breath and gave a quick smile to Symph before he reluctantly let go of Rosa's hand and hopped to the stand.
Striding up to the stand, Eriond bit his lip and trotted up to the stand owner, peeking over the piles of assorted items and goods upon the lavish stand with wondering eyes. "Um...?" He piped up, "Excuse me, sir? Can you help me?"

"That depends entirely on what you want." The keeper responded as he rested his hands against the shall top and observed the avarian. His lips pursed at the angelic wings and after a few moments of observation he shook his head, seemingly attempting to regain his composure so that he did not resemble a gawking lunatic (particularly under the scrutinizing gaze of the Lyonell not far away).
"What is it you need?" He enquired at last, releasing a sigh through semi-parted lips as he waited for the young boy to finally respond with his order as opposed to resembling a dear caught in headlights.
