Well, we all know that Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White are considered the six DIsney Princesses but what about all that other Disney female characters? Aren't they Princesses too? What do you think?
Non-Princesses
Pocohontas
Alice in Wonderland
Wendy (Peter Pan)
Mulan
Esmerelda (The Hunchback of Notre Dam)
Tinkerbell
Megara (Hercules)
Nala ( The Lion King)

I don't think they're true Disney Princesses,
but I'd consider them "sub-princesses", if you will :3

Pocahantes being the indian cheifs daughter is considered a princess Alice,Wendy and Esmerelda.Have never by the Disney company been considered princesses.Megera is considered on some times and Nala is but not really included.Disney has eight official princesses and they are.Ariel,Belle,Jasmine,Aurora[[sleeping beauty]]Cinderella,Snow White,Pochahantes,and Mulan.What stumps me is mulan she wasn't a princess and didn't marry into it though in the second movie she came close,but she's my favorite Disney character so go her.

Ryamii Pocahontas should be, since she's actually a princess. The other dumbies are like faeries, civillians, and stuff.

Since Simba is a king does that make Nala a queen? Doesn't Simba have a daughter too? ooh! don't forget about Melody!

Nala ( The Lion King) I think they all are, some more than others, in their own ways! ^.^ I may be a little unfair in this vote because two of my favorite Disney characters are on this list, Alice and Wendy, but I still think they all are!

POCAHONTAS IS DEFINATELY A PRINCESS!!!!!! XD SHE'S MY FAVE...AND I GOT A LIMITED EDITION DISNEY PRINCESS POCAHONTAS DOLL FOR CHRISTMAS...SO THEY DO CONSIDER HER A PRINCESS!!!! XD She is the chief's daughter after all, and so she is technically an indian princess! As for the others....they are awesome as well....but i see no other technicalities of princess-ness for them. Esmeralda... hooking up with Phoebus...his title was captain of the guard...but what if she was princess of the gypsies???Hmmm??? And Megara...she marries a GOD...for crying out loud...she's....kinda...more than a princess. she's a demi-goddess. i guess.
And even though Mulan is not technically a princess...they are still considering her one too. hmmm...and Jane...marries the KING of the JUNGLE...think about it. biggrin

Pocahontas is an Indian Princess since her father Chief Powhatan is the king of the tribe.
Wendy is not a princess technically, but to Peter she is worth more than all the boys in the world.
Mulan is accepted into the Emperor's family when she saves China and she marries a General who is part of the Emperor's guard.
Esmerelda is the Princess of the Gypsies, sort of a leader in a way.
Megara is not a princess, she is a poor lonely girl, who sold her soul to Hades for Love.
Nala has to be a princess and she has to be related to Simba because King Mufasa is the only Lion on Pride rock, all the rest are lionesses, so technically I think she would be a princess and later become Queen when she marries Simba. (eww! Incest)
